When I entered the room, the toilet flush lever was hanging out of the tank, making it unable to operate. I tightened the nut back on, but the armature is still not designed to work with the part there, so it’s not a smooth action. The shower was fine, though at 6’2”, I found the height of the shower head to be less than ideal. I didn’t spend much time in my room, but the A/C sounded overdue for maintenance or replacement- it was rather loud. At around 5 or so, the smoke detector in my room began chirping- I assume it needs a new battery, which is par for the course. The bed was large, but the mattress was not comfortable. The carpet looked like it was recently vacuumed and the bedspread, while having old cigarette burns on it, didn’t appear to be dirty.
There was nothing about the room that made me want to spend any length of time in it. It’s a hotel at a truck stop and it meets a certain price point- you get what you pay for and nothing more.
