Room was reasonably clean and bed comfortable. Shower height adjustment broken, and clearly had been for some time - no good for anybody over 3 foot tall. The smell of raw sewage in the corridor and the bathroom was appalling - apparently it’s been like that for some time. It really needs to get sorted……

Stayed for one night had a lovely evening meal and a delicious breakfast especially the bacon.

Excellent service from all the Staff, very helpful and polite throughout our stay, all of us agreed and there were seven of us. Park and ride for Bath not far away either. would definitely return again.

Overall was good. The bathroom was dated and could do with a better clean. It’s an older building so unfortunately we could hear all the stomping around from room upstairs. Service was very good and rooms were decent size and beds comfortable.

A good night's sleep
We used the hotel as an overnight stop after a 125 mile trip to Wales. We found staff friendly and helpful. The evening meal was excellent but the full English breakfast was sadly overcooked. The room was adequate and clean and tidy. Two drinking glasses in the room would have been useful and next time we will ask for a walk in shower. Stepping in and out of a bath to shower gets precarious as you get older but grab rails would help!

Excellent place to stay in Cotswolds.
Beautiful property with nice amenities and amazing lovely people. For example, we arrived two times very late after the kitchen was closed, and both times the chef just jumped and helped us with a hot meal for our son.

Very enjoyablr stay, close to Bath, dog friendly, quiet lovely Countryside, near to motorway for easy access to our home

Super friendly staff & super charming hotel. We all loved it and wished our trip had more nights here. 1 of a kind charm. It’s old but kept up nicely.

Room basic but comfortable and clean. Fine for our one night stay. Ate in the restaurant and the food was really good, as was the full English the next morning. Staff friendly and helpful.

Excellent
Had an excellent day . From Amy who I spoke to prior to our arrival and to the reception staff they could not do enough to ensure they met our requirements . One of the rooms we had had been recently refurbished and it was lovely . The other room had yet to be refurbished but was still perfectly adequate . We decided to eat in the restaurant and the food was outstanding . Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to return :-)

We didn’t have enough beds in the room when we arrived and Amy at the front desk went beyond the call of duty to make it right. Her caring and competency to rectify the issue was awesome. I’d say that out of all 7 nights stay in the UK her service was tops!

Tire and needs updating
Very dated and desperately needed updating. It looked like it hadn’t been updated for a long time. The bathroom was clearly a very budget option and again needed updating.

Wonderful hotel, don't know why the rate is low.
Quiet surrounding. Location is close to highway. Room was big enough. A bit dusty I feel from my allergy, but just a bit. Enough hot water and bath tub. It was nice with refrigerator in summer time. Unfortunately, no elevator. Corridor was a bit long, but max one floor up. For us, it was not so much difficulties. We couldn't take breakfast, because of the less tables that three of us cannot sit. This is the only bad point. Dinner, we ate one night but staff was too busy to serve us. But taste wonderful, I enjoyed it.

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The room was a little tired looking (especially the bathroom) but it was comfortable and roomy. Staff at the hotel were very pleasant. Room had not been cleaned upon arrival but when we returned later in the day, all was well.
