훌륭한 하루를 보냈습니다! 깨끗하고 물품이 잘 갖춰져 있습니다. 농장과 함께 있다는 것만으로도 아이들에게 새로운 환경이라 좋았는데 우연히 새벽에 눈를 뜨고 보게된 농장의 안개와 해돋이는 평생 잊지 못할 것입니다. 아름다운 숙소의 주인분도 친절하시고 저녁 늦게 도착했는데 냉장고에 우유와 쥬스 요플레 과일이 준비 되어 있어서 야식으로 요긴했습니다. 아침에 부족하면 더 주시겠다고 했는데 만들어 주신 아침 식사가 맛있어서 충분 했답니다. 캐슬쿰 바스 코츠월드쪽을 가시면 적극 추천하고 싶은 숙소입니다. 아침에 농장일을 나가셔서 인사를 못드리고와 아쉽습니다. 또 가고 싶습니다!

Amazing cottage, great location, great breakfast
A dream stay. Lovely cottage on a working farm just a few minutes drive from Castle Combe and Chippenham. The hosts were lovely, the cottage was warm and homely with an amazing log burning fire. Each morning, a freshly cooked breakfast is brought to your door at a time of your choosing. Would highly reccommend to all.

The property was very big, heating wasn’t sufficient enough to get the property warm, very noisy floor boards and next door sounded like they were coming through our cottage there was no wash caddy’s in the showers, wasn’t enough choice of tea coffee no milk not enough light outside insufficient kindling and paper to light the wood burner and one choice of breakfast would be good to offer cereal

I'm only giving this exceptional simply because there's no higher accolade. The cottage was fantastic, the breakfast was one of the best I've had. Comfy, quiet and a home from home. Best nights sleep I've had while away.

We stayed in the Farmhouse at Battens Farm. It was absolutely fantastic. Such a beautiful big property, plenty of space, beautiful surroundings on the farm and just a fantastic stay. Mike the owner was a wander full host, very friend and helpful, gave us some great suggestions of what to do locally. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again and recommend anyone to stay here!

Incredible stay with delicious breakfast
Stayed here for 2 nights, enjoyed every second of it. Such a peaceful and relaxing environment. The building was clean and welcoming, upon arrival milk and butter were left in the fridge for us- very cute touch. Secluded outside area outside the cottage which was lovely to enjoy the fresh air in the evenings. TV and WiFi both available in the cottage, daughter was very happy about this but surprisingly found herself not using her phone or iPad much at all! She was happy to watch the horses and enjoy being outside instead! The owner Mike was very friendly, gave us advice and recommendations when needed but left us alone for the most part which we personally like. The breakfast was delivered fresh each morning, what an amazing breakfast it was too. Would very happily go and stay again

Wow just wow beautiful place to stay
The cottage was amazing rooms and corridors everywhere so comfortable. As we opened the front door we were met with horses in stables. The cottage had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and rooms warm definitely didn’t want for anything. The breakfast was delivered on time and was hot. One of the best breakfast I’ve had. Only thing not on our side was the weather but an excuse to go back. I absolutely loved it

A marvel
Arrived really late but easy check in . Excellent hosts. Superb accommodation. Quiet and comfortable with a nice country feel. Clean and very cosy. This was a work trip but felt like a holiday. Breakfast was served on time and delicious. Will definitely book again!

Lovely cottage. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Super cosy and warm. Lovely views of the stables and farm. Had a fabulous breakfast delivered to our door in the morning. Piping hot and really delicious. We will be back .

This place was the perfect spot. We all live in a city and couldn’t be more excited to stay at such a wonderful little farmhouse. The English countryside is gorgeous and the farmhouse let’s you see it right outside of your window. The space is clean and had everything we needed, a home away from home, with lots of rooms. The breakfast was delicious!! We cannot wait to find a reason to go back.

Business Trip Accommodation was very spacious, comfy and clean. Location is rural and quiet but close enough to Chippenham to get essentials and necessities. Will be booking again when I am down that way later in the year.

Great place. Very relaxing and really liked the wood burner - plenty of wood provided. Excellent breakfast delivered to the door. Even managed a bit of tennis even though it was the middle of December.

Cottage was so filthy we did not stay. Cottage owner did not offer to have the cottage cleaned for us as she was having her hair done. There is absolutely no reception sign so we had no idea who to find to let us in. luckily I bumped into another guest who told me where to find the owner. I could not find a microwave anywhere in the cottage which was important as we had bought a microwave dinner for tea that night. The milk that was left for our arrival was dated the 14th of June and we checked in on the 21st. The freezer was absolutely full of God knows what and some packets were opened so it’s unclear whether it was meant for us or left by last guests. As we have been shut down for months there is no excuse for the kind of utter filth we found in this cottage. It was not an isolated incident some of the stuff was months and months old. No one is checking the cleaner. We found and photographed- Dirty mugs inside and out, absolutely filthy cooker hob, hood and grill still full of food and grease, blood on unironed bedding, food on sofas, brown sinks. Teapot with about 2 inches of dirty water still inside and dirty outside, toaster not been touched. Toilet pedestal dirty. Extractor fan dirty. Lampshades filthy. Very old and tired sofas. Wood burner but no logs. To mention just a few. I cannot decide if this is a business that is in trouble or the owner simply has no idea what she’s doing. I chose this through Expedia because it was rated 4.7 out of 5. How , god knows.

Really friendly welcome and lovely accomodation in this self-contained cottage on a farm. The cottage was really well appointed and clean and they even managed to find somewhere under cover to keep my impractical car during the downpour. I had a chance to explore the locality with a brief walk one evening, most pleasant. Highly recommended (and a lovely breakfast!!).

The perfect place to enjoy the Cotswolds
Our first trip to the wonderful Cotswolds couldn’t be better, also thanks to Battens Farm. The place is incredibly cosy and warm, a full immersion in the nature. The owners are great, very kind and helpful. We had a dreamy stay at Battens Farm, a shame it was just a night, but we will be back.

Just stayed for 2 nights in Stable Cottage. This was a business trip and I was in my own so the space I had was fantastic. I had chosen this accommodation as the prices for hotels in Gloucester where I was working had rocketed due to the Cheltenham races. The cottage could be fantastic but is a little dated at the moment - and the pictures on the walls definitely need upgrading. However it’s nice waking up and seeing the horses in their stable just across the yard. The cottage is on a B&B basis and this works by you ordering what you want the night before and it’s then delivered to you the next morning. This worked well with the food arriving nice and hot.

Stable Cottage a hidden gem
Stable cottage is a gorgeous well appointed cottage not far from Bath. It has been tastefully refurbished. The breakfasts are amazing! The hosts were very friendly and the setting was idyllic!! Would happily live in the cottage permanently!

Lovely B&B/Self-catering combination
This cottage is one of two on a working farm in a quiet rural area, but it's only 10 minutes from major roads and a supermarket. We prefer self-catering and chose this for that reason, but it had the lovely added bonus of a B&B breakfast too, simply complete a sheet the night before stating what you want for breakfast and when and Jo knocks on your door with it in the morning, perfect! There's also tea/coffee making stuff, cereal, juice, milk etc provided which is a nice touch. It was decorated and furnished in keeping with its farm setting - exposed stone walls, stable doors etc, which made for a nice mix of traditional farm style with modern comfort. We felt really comfortable, nice squishy sofas, dishwasher, a real home from home.

A trilling stay at a farm house.
It was our first farm-stay for all of us. We were thrilled to see the horses and cows closed-up! Although it was drizzling, we enjoyed the fresh crisp morning air! The cottage was comfortably furnished and we enjoyed the hot breakfast cooked to order. If not for the rain, we would have spent more time outdoors than indoor. There's a lot of privacy as we didn't see other guests during our stay.

Hidden gem of a cottage!
Tranquil location convenient to many places of interest. Homely, comfortable cottage with lovely grounds and surroundings Finding the tennis court was a lovely surprise! Very friendly and welcoming owners. Fabulous cooked breakfast. We loved our stay!

Stable Cottage means Stable Cottage.
Too many flies, views of muck heap . Bed uncomfortable and too hot with heavy duvet. Stale coffee in the jars. The towels were quite hard. Jo was very welcoming , breakfast was good. Only stayed one night, but would not have wanted to stay longer.
