Lovely hotel in broadway
Excellent rooms great price for what you get - very close to everything you would need to see in broadway. They have remodelled the restaurant and lots of facilities so everything is brand new. The only thing that needs improvement is the buffet breakfast, the variety and standard of little things like the toast isn’t really in line with the rest of the hotel. It was much better before the refurb and I hope they rethink the menu / options on that front. Everything else is innovative (menu at the hook etc) and this feels lazy in that context.

very bad service
The service was terrible. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Having arrived at the bar we found our table had not been reserved and then we waited over 2 hours for our main meal to arrive. The excuse was being short staffed but 3 other couples had all arrived after us, had their meals, paid and left. After waiting over an hour and a half after ordering our steaks, we were then told they had ran out. Embarrassing. Then the room next door to us had gone out and left their dog alone to howl for 2 hours! There was a catalogue of events that happened during our 2 night stay and suffice to stay, we will never stay there again. They made our 2 night stay nothing but stressful.

Nice hotel in nice surroundings
Nice layout. Would perhaps not suit an elderly guest as the rooms and facilities are not close and involve a lot of steps. But there are rooms closer. The staff coped very well with the 8" snowfall.

Plenty of fish in the sea, but none like this
We’ve stayed here a couple of times. It’s become our go to for spontaneous birthday getaways. Always so friendly, amazing location in the hills, very nice for walking. It’s a an amazing country escape. Close enough to drive to all the quaint villages surrounding and even bigger towns and cities for a day. Offers something different with all the different types of accommodation, which keeps us coming back. Excellent food. Cosy bar area. All staff are friendly, genuine and easy to talk to.

Gorgeous hotel in the Cotswolds
Lovely experience from start to finish. From being given coffee at check-in to lovely breakfast before departure. Staff excellent, rooms had everything required and some lovely retro touches. We will be back.

Interesting Hotel
The Hotel is set in extensive grounds with the residences on various levels and situated at varying distances away from the reception and dining facilities. It was a cold and rainy evening when we were there so the walk to and from supper wasn't very pleasant. I would highly recommend the hotel but would mention the fact that one has to drive or walk to and from different buildings on different levels.

Fabulous
Beautiful place. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the bar staff who did not know the food service schedule and sent me on an unnecessary trip into town for food when the bar menu was actually available. Otherwise, great!

A bit smelly!!
Having seen the on line website the exterior of the hotel as we arrived was disappointing and the sewage smell didn't help! Once inside the welcome was warm and friendly and the scandi decor relaxing but with a corporate feel to it. The Cosy room I had booked was small with no view and as a baby was also in earshot we asked to change rooms which was done without hesitation . Evening meal was excellent but the breakfast, full English was disappointing with luke warmrubbery eggs. despite the quality of the staff we wouldn't be enticed back.

Booking confusion
Booked bed breakfast and evening meal. On check in we confirmed this. On check out we were charged an extra £25 per person for dinner. There was no table d'hote menu. Felt " conned" because no attempt was made to inform us!!!!

Great stay with your pets.
This is my second visit here and it is wonderful stay with plenty of places to go. We took our dog with us and stayed in 'The Stables' which was perfect. Our dog loved it as he could run around freely and we did not have to worry about him.

Lovely weekend break
We stayed in one of the cosy rooms in (with situated in the Brook House building) and were really happy with our stay. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, and we were able to borrow wellies when we went walking. Our room was cosy, clean and well-equipped, the bed was comfy, the wifi signal was good, and we were also happy with the breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay
Hotel was just as the photos on the website, if not better. Stayed in a 'cosy room' which was a good size. Hotel grounds were nice and everything is easy to get to. Main lobby/reception nice, tidy and modern. Breakfast was good, good choice and very nice continental breakfast too. Staff were great and helpful. Would love to go back.

Nice hotel which is ideal for touring the Cotswold
We stayed here for two nights, using it as a base for my wife's MGB GT driving experience. Her dream car. Lovely setting near Broadaway in an extensive estate. From the moment we arrived all the staff were very friendly,helpful and attentive. Our spacious and well appointed room was a walk away from the main reception. The shower area was huge. The buffet breakfast was good. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to our friends.

The Hotel was lovely but we didn't have a wardrobe in our room just some hooks on the wall.This hotel is a dog friendly place We had originally booked another hotel which was over booked & we were transferred to The Fish Hotel but were not told dogs were allowed.We stayed 4 nights on our last day we ordered breakfast but our order got lost we complained & we were given a free breakfast.

We booked at the Fish as a mid-week break for just the two of us to gain some rest and relaxation away from the daily grind. And that is exactly what we got! Beautiful surroundings and views,with very pleasant staff and excellent amenities. I would definitely recommend and indeed stay again.

Great hotel
Beautiful hotel with lovely views and very friendly staff. We stayed in a Cosy Deluxe room and had a lovely view. Breakfast was good too. Would recommend and stay here again!

The Fish is perfect low-cost luxury. You really feel special, relaxed, taken care of. The rooms and location are amazing (as long as you have a car!), the staff are very helpful, the food is delicious as are the drinks, and everything is pretty reasonably priced for the level of service you receive. I can't recommend it enough.

Modern comfortable Country Hotel with Nice touches
Very nice weekend here. Lots of thoughtful touches like Nespresso machine in the room, fresh milk, large fluffy white towels and good lighting in the bathroom - something often sadly lacking in even 5* hotels. Staff were really helpful & produced maps on request.

Fantastic setting
If I am paying that sort of money then I expect better food in the restaurant . It was more like a cafe . Wish we had gone into Broadway on the two evenings we stayed as the prices were very similar . It's a lovely hotel but wouldn't go back I'm afraid . ( Breakfast was fine ) Love the area as always .

Wonderful staff and hotel
I proposed to my now fiancée whilst at The Fish hotel, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Every single member of staff were friendly and had a smile on their face, the hotel itself is beautifully decorated and has a real home feel. Thank you to everyone that made our visit as incredible as it was.

Not worth the money
The hotel complex felt more like a student campus than a luxury retreat. Our room - the cosy luxe was supposed to be more spacious yet felt cramped. Although it was a pleasant 15 min walk across fields to Broadway in daylight it was impossible to use this route after dark which meant either a 45 min road walk or a £20 taxi - one way! The bar/ restaurant had a nice feel to it but unfortunately I had to send part of my breakfast back as it was stone cold. Expedia offered this hotel to us as a replacement to our original choice (which had a plumbing issue). We were left disappointed and would not return.

It was a beautiful hotel The decor was outstanding . The staff were excellent . They were pleasant friendly and helpful . It was the first time we have stayed there but we will definitely book it again .

Fish Hotel
The hotel was ok but for the money we paid we were disappointed with the experience. Our experience of the service was patchy. Some staff were very good but others seemed disinterested. We had afternoon tea in the bar shortly after arriving. Part of the appeal was the fire highlighted on the website but we were seated at the opposite end of the room next to where the air conditioning was blasting out of the games room. We asked if we could move closer to the fire but were told that the area was reserved. One table remained empty for an hour after that. The room was clean but not I'm not too sure what was luxurious about the Cosy Luxe. The room had a bit of a view of the surrounding countryside, however, its on the ground floor and there is a small path outside so people could look into the room unless the blind was fully closed. Would therefore suggest adding a blind or shutters that can be partially closed but still let in some light in. The bathroom was rather small and had a standard riser shower. There was no sound proofing so it was quite loud in the mornings with people walking past and the cleaner's hoovers. We had the continental breakfast delivered to the room on the first morning (had to phone reception twice before it arrived) but they wrapped up the cheese with the ham and salmon which isn't very good if you are vegetarian. The restaurant was good but it would be good to indicate on the menu which dishes are vegetarian.

Fantastic hotel
Absolutely stunning hotel. Incredibly friendly staff, dog friendly and great rooms. Felt like a home away from home. The grounds are beautiful to walk around in. Food at the restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. Lounging in the bar with a hot chocolate on a cold day was great. Great for dog owners. Nice young couple vibe to the place.
