Some people like small rooms, horrible smells, a sink covered with lots of insects, hard bed and a shower that turns the bathroom into a pool. If so, you are in luck. To add to your experience, look ahead to rude staff, furniture made for small kids, and extra costs for asking for a new towel each day. If you book through Expedia you will notice that no warning is given as to the state of the road to the accomodation. It starts off ok but eventually weaves around a decently treed area. The road turns into a track and branches are falling regularly. You will not find any images on the Expedia website of this, nor any warnings in the booking email you will get from the hotel. If you do point this out, expect to be insulted and abused for not being able to assume that a non luxury car friendly track should be expected. I exchanged some wonderful emails with a gent who might be well placed to take some "customer service" skills gap courses. I will forever cherish these wonderful words from the manager ?
Manager: The roads are gravelled all the way. Patrick: Thats not true, just be honest.
Patrick: The road could do with some additional lighting to assist the guests. Manager: Do street signs warn you when it’s dark ahead? That’s why cars have lights, to provide light. What and how you drive is not our responsibility. You own the sports car and it’s you who should know it’s limitations.
Patrick: I know its limitations, I was hoping you would have explain yours before I arrived.
