Dog friendly but .....
The fact that this hotel is 100% dog friendly and very affordable makes it top notch in my book. The room was decent enough, my only complaint is that I specifically reserve hotels that are 100% NON-SMOKING. They say no smoking in the rooms but don't enforce no smoking right outside. So unfortunately there were 2 men smoking upstairs over the railing and dropping ashes on my car (ended up having to move my car across the parking lot it was so bad) and within 30 minutes there was someone else smoking right next to my door, leaning against the building which blew all the smoke into my room causing an asthma attack. Ugh. Had to turn off the air, and use an inhaler. The turning off the air caused me to hear all the conversations outside at all hours due to no insulation around the doorframe. So pros and cons. I was grateful for the dog friendliness and price but probably won't stay again due to the health concerns.

No one was home!!!
The office was locked and closed. There was a door bell to ring for attendant. I rang several times over a 10 minute period. There was no answer. There were at least 3 big dogs in the office. After about 10 minutes we got back on the road and decided to drive through the night.

Diamond in the rough
From the outside, this place looks a little rundown. The office and rooms seem a little dated BUT I have no complaints. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable and the water pressure is good. Hot water, clean rooms, comfortable stay overall. Dogs stay free.

Heard when other rooms where using showers in middle of night. We were only staying one night as we were on the road heading south so not a good sleep which we obviously needed.

The check-in was atrocious. When we arrived, the door for the office was locked with nobody around. I rang the door bell & buzzer and waited approx. 5 minutes for someone to respond and open the door to get checked in. The rooms were semi-clean but the room had an awful smell.

Ouch! Bed frame scratched me
Ouch! There was piece of the bed frame sticking out 6 inches from under mattress right where you put your legs down to get out of bed. As I got up it scratched my leg badly. Argh. I couldn’t see it because the sheet was over it.

I reserved at $99 but was charged $109 for the room. The sink was dirty with hair in the bowl, the tub had a slow drain so you stood in water, the toilet seat fell off the toilet, the hot water was warm at best, the room smelled musty and most fixtures looked old or repurposed.

I told the front desk my room smelled like cigarette and he said it didn't. The sink was clogged, my husband unclogged it Gross, the restroom smelled like urine and if this allows me to post pictures i will. Place smells like cat pee all outside. Please do not advertise this place! I cleanes the switches and the table tops. Slept terrible because id the cigarette smell and we wven had car fresheners that we hung up

We actually didn’t get to stay there and had to find another hotel in the area because of after 15 minutes of ringing the bell and calling the hotel...no one would answer the door to check us in. It was 11:30 pm. We could see 2 dogs in the lobby and a TV was on but, no human! It may have been a value but, we will never stay there!
