Very helpful & friendly ladies in the desk. Thankyou to them. Cabin requires a few repairs eg sliding screen door in lounge, base ties of the verticle blinds in bedroom & lounge mostly pulled off. This was an older cabin but suitable for a few nights stay when very little other accommodation available

The atmosphere was very welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing. Sweet weekend retreat. Lovely gardens. Highly recommond.

Excellent facilities. Great location. Beds need replacing they were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Cottage small, very small balcony two chair supplied but no room to put both chairs on the balcony . Bed very hard and tiny shower and water taking time to become hot. Staff lovely and helpful. I think a bit over priced for this accommodation ,but when I booked only accommodation left in Iluka .

very helpful staff
We stayed here because our friend stays here often. Bit of a walk to go to town (we took the car). Nice, relaxing holiday town. Not as busy as Yamba. Enjoyed the Sunday music cruise and also the ferry over to Yamba is handy.

Quiet beautiful setting
My wife and I stayed here for a quick getaway for two nights. We stayed in Spa Cabin 3 which had a lovely deck overlooking the tropical Balinese-style garden. The cabin itself was clean and and nice. A good size combined dining/lounge area. Lots of birdlife and the river across the road.

Was a lovely little place to stay. Plenty of stuff to keep the kids busy and close to a great fishing spot

Clean and very friendly staff
Very friendly and helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble !! Very well positioned in Iluka and the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean ...... would definitely recommend to others.

poor management
Arranged after hours arrival (6.30pm) and told to go to spa cabin with light on. Turned out to be wrong one for the key we were given. The right one for the key was next door. We dropped out bags and went out for dinner returning for bed, only to find there was no water to the cabin. So much for a spa! Too dark to work out how to turn on the water so we survived the night with only the water in a jug in the fridge. Found the external water tap in the morning and able to flush the loo etc. When we raised this with the reception - now open, they showed very little concern. We decided not to stay the second night.

Awesome holiday park
We stayed in one of the spa cabins and it was lovely. It had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and directed us to the local fishing spots where we could drop a line in :) Will definitely be coming back for another visit.

Great park
We had a great holiday at Anchorage Holiday Park Iluka. It's a nice park by the beautiful Clarence River. It has everything you need and is clean and well maintained. The park owners are the nicest and most accommodating people you could wish for. Highly recommend.

Peaceful retreat
Very helpful staff. Lovely clean park. Great facilities. Love the pool area. We will definitely be back! Only downfall was family cabin only had one 2 seater lounge but i could see the space restrictions around that.

Solution to the Air conditioner not working on an extremely hot day while we were getting ready for a funeral - 'Open a window' Solution to the TV not working 'The TV lead has been stolen' in an accusing tone.. The level of customer service was beyond disappointing ..

We responded to this in another forum so are unsure why your complaint is still active?! However, responding again: after receiving your complaint after the funeral, regarding the aircon and dvd player, we attended immediately to rectify the problem. There was no problem with your aircon but the TV lead was missing. At no time did we infer you stole the lead - we suggested it had been taken by the previous people in error and we apologised for our staff not noticing this prior to your check in. We did suggest opening a window as it was a lovely windy day - however it was an attempt at levity in a stressful time for you and we apologise that our humour was not recognised. Our management and staff spent much time and effort with your family group - both before arrival and after. We accommodated your request for change of cabin. We were sensitive to your stressful time and enjoyed a number of peaceful interactions with your family. As you've stayed with us a number of times before, we are disappointed that you've used this forum in this manner, however we presume this is a result of that stress. We will still be glad to welcome you back at the Anchorage and we hope it is under happier circumstances.

Relaxation haven
Great location with really friendly staff. Super relaxing and enjoyable. A very well cared for facility. Only downside was having to check out, I wish we could have stayed for an extra week!
