보통입니다.
요세미티 직전이라 위치가 아주 좋습니다. 다만 체크아웃이 10시인게 좀 빨랐고, 세면대가 높아 사용하기 불편했습니다. 샤워실 따뜻한 물이 잘 안나와... 금액 일부 환불해준다고 했는데 2주지났으나 아직 환불 받은건 없습니다.

Pretty Standard motel, although the room was very spacious, more than an average motel. Very quiet, great for a little get away, close to Mammoth Lakes/Mountain as well as June Lake/Mountain. View of lake mono was cool, you can see it from the second floor and parking lot.

This was a more affordable option to stay at when booking a ski trip to mammoth. It’s a quick drive to mammoth or June mountain. Overall the hotel is fairly old and could use some upgrades. I had very bad allergies the whole time I was there and believe it was due to dust or a cleaner they use.

Slight step up from Murphy's nearby, but I was really turned off by how aggressively unkind the contract was in several areas. In particular, there is a clause with multiple threats against EV owners for plugging in, yet not only are there no EV charging facilities, employees cannot even tell you about EV chargers in the area. Expect loud window heaters/AC, extremely loud refrigerators, and poor thermostats (better insulation than Murphy's helps somewhat). NOTE: Some rooms have 2 actual rooms within, so you can sleep in the inner room and the loud stuff is in the outer room.

The bathroom door lock was missing, I had to restart the TV satellite system several times before it finally worked, the room heater was deafening and the room had a very strong “air freshener” smell that wouldn’t air out.

Affordable and comfortable motel on Hwy 395
The motel was fine, and at a convenient stopping point for our trip. The desk clerk was helpful, and we appreciated the landscaping and holiday lights. But I would have preferred better disclosure in the advertising on hotels.com. It advertised 24/7 desk service and a restaurant on the premises. After we completed our nonrefundable payment, we received an email telling us that neither of these were true, and that in fact the restaurants in Lee Vining were closed for the season. This information was very helpful, but I would have preferred knowing before making the reservation. Furthermore, upon arrival , we had to pay an additional $11 "environmental fee," for which I do not recall getting any advance notice. It's not a lot of money, but add-ons are always an unpleasant surprise. I'm sure most guests would prefer more transparent notice of all of these at the time of booking.

Overpriced and rundown
Lake View Lodge is the only lodging option in Lee Vining in the winter. As such, it is overpriced and not very nice. The room was rundown and smelled of cleaning agents. They tack on an "environmental fee" of 11$ when you check in even if you have prepaid through another agency. The clerk could not tell us what the fee is for or why it is charged at all. We would not recommend this lodging option.

Basic, gloomy lighting, nowhere to eat. Cafe was closed. Reception unmanned for morning checkout. Washbasins too high. Power outage at 8 in the morning, No lake view as those rooms were closed for the winter. After a very long journey it was disappointing. A refund or compensation would be appreciated.

My room was spacious and had good internet. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a one minute walk from 2 restaurants and a market. Beautiful part of the Sierras.

This is a funky old motel which needs renovation, but they are already working on updating it. The location is excellent for visiting amazing Mono Lake and you can see the lake from the upper levels of the motel. The room was small, vey dark with not enough lighting, and a very small bathroom. The shower stall didn't even have a soap dish or ledge to place the soap or shampoo which was very annoying. The bedding looked and smelled old. There were no outlets next to the bed to charge phones. On the plus side, the grounds had a nice picnic area with trees. There is a very convenient mini-market next door. Also Nicely's Restaurant is right down the street, which is an old-style diner with ambiance from the 50's and OK food when there are no other options. The Basin Cafe was closed for the season when we arrived. Mono Lake is fascinating and beautiful. Check out the South Tufa Trail on Highway 120 East just south of Lee Vining. Also June Lake Loop is gorgeous and a very easy drive.
