We returned after 10 years. It was the same: friendly reception and staff, comfy beds, all very clean, very good breakfast, parking on the spot.

Would definitely recommend
This hotel was better than expected, we enjoyed a free upgrade for our room, and the buffet breakfasts and buffet dinners had a lot of choices and were really good value. The staff are really friendly and helpful, carrying our bags and giving us tips for things to do in the area. The only tiny issue was that the bath robes in the room were too small for adults but the ones in the spa area were better sized.

Property was decent. Because there wasnt AC, the windows had to be left open which caused a huge influx of flies and bugs. Other than that, it was good!

Difficult to sum up...
Staff are super polite and friendly Hotel itself is a little bizarre (perhaps because it’s a ski destination but we went in September) but still clean and fine for a short stop. In our opinion price is just slightly too high for region compared with Kotor for example. The only negative really is that the hot water didn’t work a couple of times so lukewarm showers!

perfect place with staff that go the extra mile
I highly recommend the polar star hotel on our part there was an error in the booking and the staff could not have been more helpful and everything about our stay was perfect

Comfortable room, we thought the staff were courteous but not as friendly as other hotels in Montenegro. The hotel does have a lot of groups and although there is a menu a buffet is the main focus it is reasonable at €8 per person. It is in a good position for touring the area

Apartment suites way over delivered
Clean bright hotel. My suite was huge...could have hosted a circus there. Really professional masseuse to easy my hike ached body. Mediocre food. Cute puppies on site.

Comfortable quiet location
Good quiet location for Zabljak but require a car to get around as out of town. No laundry facilities as stated but have advised Hotels.com of this issue.

Nice place
This is generally a nice place to stay. It has an attractive rustic atmosphere, and my room was respectably sized and well furnished. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets have a wide selection and are a good option to making the 3 km drive into Zabljak. The staff tended to be businesslike rather than warm, but they got the job done. My one complaint is that the hot water temperature fluctuated wildly, from tepid to cold to hot, never more than 30 seconds at the same temp. When I told the desk clerk about it, her response was an offhand “oh, we’ll look into it.” Disappointing.

The stay was very fun, the staff were friendly i got an upgrade! I was very impressed by the place, we slept in the penthouse unit about triple the size of a regular room, the view was incredible! Everything was perfect location was perfect between the black lake and tara bridge.

Great hotel in Durmitor
We enjoyed our stay very much. The friendly staff made us welcome. The food was great. Lot's of choice for the breakfast buffet. I would recommend this hotel because of it's spacious rooms, and the location close to Durmitor national park.

Not even in Zabljak! Avoid!
I can't stress enough how much this hotel should be avoided. The map displays it as being in central Zabljak - it's 4km out of town. Imagine our surprise finding that out after a long day travelling to this remote location by public transport! The tourist info booth let us use their phone & the hotel said they'd pick us up so we could 'negotiate' - no one came so after 40mins we got a taxi, costing 5€ (we later got it back). All in all the service was shockingly poor. The manager was indescribably rude, first on the phone and then in person. She spent the first 10-15 mins hiding behind a polite young girl on reception while shouting from the back room. Eventually she came to speak to us but there was no 'negotiation' whatsoever. She admitted this happens a lot but "everyone has a car" (we arrived in town on a bus packed full of backpackers). She also refused to explain why they allow the hotel to be falsely advertised - we explained in the UK this would be seen as fraud. She said she would not be contacting hotels.com to have their info corrected. We asked that the hotel deduct our unforeseen (and un-budgeted for) taxi costs to/from town from our bill but they refused. We cancelled our booking and stayed elsewhere (which they admittedly arranged for us) but only after wasting a considerable amount of time and undergoing a fair amount of stress. Still no idea if they're going to try to charge us for the room as they would not give a straight answer.

Alpine retreat
Reception was welcoming and showed us around the grounds and the house. Very cold when we arrived but it didn't take long to warm up the house with the heating and the woodstove. Breakfast was a la carte due to only a few rooms booked but it was very sufficient.

Cosy hotel
The hotel is rated with 4 stars, but i trust it deserved a solid 3. We had a suite which was spacious and had a nice balcony, but the bathroom was a little disappointing, run down and small for such a big ropm and for 4 stars.The bad aftertaste was due to the german shepard dog - puppy which they bought to entertain the children. The poor dog is tied up and gets little care. We took him out every day and i encourage everyone else to do the same.

As the hotel was almost closing doors for preparing to winter season, I was possibly the last customer and was totally alone in the hotel and also in the restaurant. The people were absolutely friendly, I got small upgrade and enjoyed quiet night ...as the hotel is located in pretty far from other houses.restaurant was pretty good and serice was verty cozy. Liked the place

Good hotel
Sympatic hotel with driving distance from Zabljak. Only negative side is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

Gut gelegen und komfortabel
Großzügige Zimmer, sauber, ruhig! Spa haben wir nicht genutzt, daher können wir dies nicht beurteilen. Sehr gut gelegen zum NP. Frühstück landestypisch, aber für uns persönlich zu gehaltvoll/deftig. Netter Service!

Viihtyisä hotelli ja ihana henkilökunta takasi mukavan yöpymispaikan pienen ajomatkan päästä henkeäsalpaavan kauniista Durmitorin luonnonpuistosta. Huone oli iso ja siisti, aamupalakin mainio. Hotellin ravintolan sijaan illalliselle tosin kannattaa lähteä läheiseen Zabljakin kylään.

Durmitor NP 住宿的好選擇
10月上旬入住，已是淡季，房客不多，遇上2017第一場雪，雪景真是美極了，雪白的世界。旅館距Zabljak鎮上車程5分鐘，自駕方便。旅館型態很像大型小木屋，附設餐廳，晚餐淡季單點（旺季有自助餐），選擇性多，單價合理，餐點美味。服務人員均很樂意提供協助。黑山北部山間鄉村仍是一個樸質的地方，雖語言溝通不若大城市容易，但仍可感受他們對外來訪客的友善。

L'hôtel est donné pour 4 etoiles... C'est un petit hôtel familial qui, à mon avis, est plutôt un 2 étoiles. Le personnel est aimable et courtois, les prestations sont en regard du prix (pour info repas du soir 8 euros) : c'est un hôtel parfait pour un petit budget ou une famille.

Gros probleme quant à l'adresse qui ne correspond pas du tout à la localisation réelle de l'hotel. Heureusement nous passons devant et fausont le lien. Personnel d'accueil tres sympathique, chambre spacieuse et bien entretenue. Au restaurant par contre personnel froid et repas moyen. Bonne experience
