으스스한 고성 분위기
오래된 고성 분위기를 좋아하시는 분에게는 강추, 체크인 할 땐 우리뿐이어서 으스스했는데 밤 늦게 단체들 와서 조금 안심. 앤틱 분위기에 가구나 그림들이 아주 으스스함. 방은 넓고 좋았는데 청소상태는 불량임. 아침식사 포함으로 예약했는데 다음 날 아침 roomonly라며 한바탕 시끄럽게 한 후 아침을 먹기는 했지만 불편했음. 호텔닷컴 잘못이라고 주장했음. 자그레브 시내에서는 한참 떨어진 산 쪽이라서 근처에 마트도 없고 지나다니는 사람도 없는 으슥한 곳임. 혼자서는 숙박할려면 용기가 필요함. 아침식사도 빵 종류만 있는 싼 호텔.

The staff were very welcoming, the restaurant on the same property has a great and unique selection of foods that honor the Habsburg tradition and the owner's family, which has had this restaurant for 5 generations.

Beautiful hotel with lots of history. Enjoyed the stay and the room. Service was excellent and the only thing I would recommend is to update the bathrooms. Other than that it was a perfect location out of the busy city.

SLEEPING INSIDE A CIGARETTE
The hotel says it's a non smoking place but in fact people smoke in the loby and worse, they smoke inside the rooms. The room we stayed at smelled so bad because of the cigaretes people smoked there that we had to sleep with the windows opened. The bed's matress was of such a bad quality that when you woke up you were in a hole, as it had receded. (We made a video) We tried to get somebody from the reception at 3:30 am, because we couldn't sleep from the cigarrete smell, but there was no one there. (We made a video) We do not recomend this hotel.

Ontbijt, vooral de koffie die door de eigenaar zelf werk gezet, was erg goed. Hotel bevindt zich op 4,5 kilometer afstand van stadscentrum, echter goede verbinding d.m. Tram en bus. De eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk. De koelkast in onze kamer werkte niet Hygiene was onder maat, onze kamer en de tapijt in onze kamer was erg vies. Badkamer zeer donker, geen goede verlichting.

Fifth generation family owned and run. Owner personally hands on involved. Property includes an adjacent restaurant with a culinary museum. Superb food.

Great stay in Zagreb
This is a well run pleasant hotel. If you are game it’s an easy 3 km walk downhill into town, and as it’s a bit uphill back there is a tram right behind. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
The great old classic tram serving the last bit up the hill to the hotel from town.
A lovely small park on the way into town.

This was such a pleasant experience. What a wonderful charming slice of Croatia. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was beautifully decorated. We felt this was our most authentic Croatian stay of our 2.5 week trip. We ate dinner at the hotels restaurant across the street. It was also very Croatian and decorated beautifully. The food was authentic and the prices were less than we paid at all the other Croatian restaurants along the coast. The food was delicious. The free breakfast was also very good. If you want a Croatian experience in Zagreb, stay here.

Super leuk kleinschalig hotel dat wordt gerund door de 5e generatie van de familie die eigenaar is van het hotel en restaurant. De inrichting is erg apart met oudere collecties schilderijen en spullen vanuit het verleden. De kamer was redelijk goed. De bedden zijn slecht (geen vering).

Amazing place, not only beautiful but full of history, tradition and Croatian hospitality. The room was so beautiful and the entire hotel is like a gallery of Croatian history. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is one of the best in the whole of Europe. I can't recommend this place enough to have a true Croatian experience.

This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The rooms are nice, the bed is comfortable, the shower is excellent, and the price is fair. I’ve never met a more genuinely friendly staff, which is the true selling point for the hotel. The WiFi works well and the complementary breakfast even included vegetarian options for us (vegans have a few options as well). There is a restaurant next door as well but the vegetarian options were limited so I didn’t try it.

Beautiful and with perfect service.
The service set the hotel apart. The furnishings were as beautiful as we'd hoped (which was why we selected this hotel). The location was far more convenient than I expected from looking at the map, 15 minutes to downtown was about half what I'd planned - very convenient.

Cute old hotel.
The hotel is old and has some antique or near antique furniture. The air conditioner would not get the room any lower then 75 degrees which is to hot to sleep for me. The breakfast was very good. Fresh scrambled eggs and all the European breakfast offerings. This was not as close to train station as I thought. If you have a car this would be better than a city hotel. Not much within walking distance. I wound not stay again because of the air conditioning. Check out was extremely slow, it over 15 minutes, 2 other people were ahead of me. She finished my check out just as my cab arrived. The restaurant next door was good and gave extremely large portions. Hotel guests get a discount.

Loved the old Croatian style mixed in with modern features. The dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Dishes from 18th century Croatian cookbook. The breakfast was great. Loved the charcuterie and the salad, very nutritional. The staff was smiling and very polite. Would stay again!

The staff was amazing. We met the owner who was a gentleman and very personable. The hotel is a very elegant place. We loved it. It is a short drive from the historic district.

large and comfortable room. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good parking in quiet neighborhood. Tram or bus transportation to center city close to hotel. Safe wasn't fastened to anything-so didn't use. Bathtub with shower didn't have a shower curtain or enclosure.

酒店房間很乾淨，對面的餐廳同是一位老板，老板很友善，這間酒店已屬第五代，幾代都是廚師，這第五代老板還到過中國上電視表演克羅地亞美食。酒店基本上是一間整潔兼員工服務很好的酒店。除了早餐，竟發現冷盤的肉是發霉的，令我立時作嘔，4星的酒店太不能接受了。

Excellent stay in a quiet neighborhood!
We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Puntijar in first week of April. The hotel belongs to the Puntijar restaurant owners, which has been in existence for over 175 years. The opulence shows in the grand decor of the lobby area, the windings stairs, the paintings on the walls and the tasteful antique furniture inside the rooms and the restaurant area. You feel as if you are staying inside a small villa house with focus on tradition. The rooms also have Croatian language books to add to the feel (which, unfortunately, we could not read :). Overall, the stay was enjoyable and top class. The location is a bit away from the buzzing crowds and the Zagreb city center, in the middle of a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. The city center is easily reachable through public transport in less than 30 minutes. There are a few negatives, such as the size of the room that we got was a bit small with lesser walking space in between the 3 beds for our family. Also the storage space inside the room could be a bit bigger. But the antique furnishings and decor makes up for such small inconveniences. And, last but not least, the customer service was excellent & we were very well taken care of during our stay. The hotel staff even arranged for an early breakfast at 6 am on the day of our checking out since we had an early flight to catch. Highly recommended for families to stay.
