Ocean breezes at a great resort
After 4 weeks of safaris in 3 countries we wanted a place to replace before our long flight home. Mission accomplished. The breeze at the edge of the beach was wonderful. We had great AC and the staff was friendly and accommodated my wife’s allergies very well we can’t say enough good things.

A solid all rounder with a lovely beach view. Service excellent but needs updating and upgrading in parts - especially as regards in room facilities and gym - to be a true 5* hotel. Staff lovely though and it’s a well oiled machine in terms of its half board food options.

Breezes Beach Club is an amazing small sized resort (there are probably 60 odd rooms but it doesn't give you this impression) where together with my family spent 8 wonderful days. I'll start off by saying that the resort is extremely clean in all public spaces, the flora is nicely maintained every day, it's a closed resort so you don't have to be concerned being secure (although in my mind it's not necessary), it has a clean beach, security on the beach as well as you will encounter local people selling stuff (they are the same every day. they are friendly but sometimes can be persistent). The resort has most facilities that you would expect (spa and gym - haven't used), a diving centre, a water sports centre, plenty of bars, a TV room and library etc. Why a TV room? Well, it's because they don't have TVs in rooms. The wifi is really good and you can access it from anywhere within the resort, even on the beach. The room is standard but will lots of storage space, nice features such as a baldachin to protect against mosquitos. We had a lovely room with sea view and it was amazing. You also have subject to the room, a nice outdoor space with a table and chairs. The food was absolutely amazing. And I'm a picky eater. There was a combination of 4 nights buffet and 3 nights with a set menu which was perfect. The set menus at least, you could tell that they have well prepared chefs or actually employ international ones. A kids club would be something good to have in future.

Magnifique hôtel
Magnifique séjour. Seconde fois à Zanzibar et je n’ai pas été déçue. L’hôtel est magnifique au sein d’un jardin sublime, la plage est propre et calme. Les repas préparé avec soin, la propreté des lieux est impeccable, les chambres spacieuses. En prime une équipe très bienveillante , des femmes de chambre au manager de l’hôtel! Je recommande vivement.

Had a great time at Breezes. The staff and food was the best part of the stay (not buffet style). Room was nice, fairly roomy and had the standard amenities. Comes with bottled water replenished once per day but might need more depending on your consumption/activity that day. Only downside is it's an hour from Stone Town. But there are enough activities locally to spend time on...or you can just relax and hangout. half board (breakfast and dinner) was enough to keep us fed for the day. They also accommodated dietary needs, adjusting ingredients as needed. Did gluten free well (spouse has severe allergy), no ill effects so they did well.

Best place I have stayed in Zanzibar.

Wunderschöne Hotelanlage am traumhaften Strand. Es wird auf Allergien geachtet und alles darauf angepasst. Sensationell! Das Bett war zuerst zu hart, das Problem wurde direkt behoben. Duschgel und Shampoo vorhanden. Strandhandtücher und Liegen ausreichend vorhanden. Kein Fernseher. Alle Strohhalme sind schon aus Pappe. Der Crosstrainer im Gym war kaputt. Schien jedenfalls keinen zu stören, weil vielleicht keiner ins Gym geht.

A recommander sans hésitation
Au terme de 6 jours passés au Breezes, nous ne pouvons que vanter les mérites de cet hôtel . Composé de plusieurs "pavillons" disséminés dans un jardin luxuriant, les chambres sont spacieuses, et très bien équipées correspondant aux standards d'un 5 étoiles. La salle de bains quoique assez petite est fonctionnelle. La propreté est irréprochable dans la totalité de l'établissement. Toutes les parties communes sont de toute beauté décorées avec beaucoup de soin, un mobilier sublime et des espaces luxueux et chaleureux à la fois. La restauration est excellente, variée et gouteuse dressée sous forme de buffet ou selon les soirs, servie à table par un personnel attentionné, professionnel et disponible . Le directeur présent en permanence, soucieux du bien être de ses hôtes vient régulièrement s'entretenir avec nous et insuffle à son équipe une énergie très positive pour rendre ce séjour le plus agréable possible . L'ensemble de l'établissement est bordé par un très belle plage avec des panoramas toujours différents en fonction des marées qui, quand elle est basse rend évidemment la baignade impossible comme dans de nombreux endroits à Zanzibar d'ailleurs.Des balades encadrées sont alors proposées gracieusement pour rejoindre la barrière de corail. La très belle piscine viendra largement compenser ce phénomène naturel. La gentillesse de tout le staff, la capacité limitée ( 150 clients maximum) et l'aménagement font de cet hôtel un endroit tout à fait remarquable.
