하필 비가 엄청 오던 날에 늦게 체크인을 하고 다음 날 체크아웃을 하게 돼서 호텔을 제대로 둘러보진 못했는데... 호텔을 소개하는 사진들처럼 호텔 자체는 경관도 시설도 좋았던 것 같습니다. 다만, 다른 슐로스호텔에서는 그렇지 않았는데, 이 곳은 좀 더 오래된 성을 개조해서 호텔로 만들어서 그런건지.. 아니면 비가 많이 와서 그런건지.. 객실이나 로비 등이 좀 낡고 눅눅하고 꿉꿉한 느낌은 있었습니다. 그리고... 이렇게 생각하고 싶지는 않지만... 체크인을 늦게 해서 그런거겠지만... 유인럽이나 미인국이 아닌 여객행이 묵는 경우에는 왠지 뷰가 좋않지은 방을 주는 듯한 느낌이... 1박을 한 거라서 딱히 상세한 후기를 하기에는 뭣하지만.. 암튼 슐로스는 다 좋은 것 같아요. ^^

Absolutely amazing, definitely recommended!
Lovely location, the Castle is beautiful, great service and lovely food. 30 minutes from Kitzbühel and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Definitely recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at the mittersill castle hotel. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a drink in the Schlosshof. We were shown to our room, which was beautiful. So spacious with a gorgeous view. We booked the half pension for the first night, and the food was delicious. The second night we ate from the menu al a crate. Once again, delicious. We went to the spa everyday, and were very impressed with the sauna. Breakfast was very filling with excellent service. The location of the castle within the Hohe Tauern national park was great for hiking. We will definitely be back soon!

Lovely views - service could be improved.
Lovely hotel, great spa, stunning views, but the layout (which can't be helped) is a bit odd and as such there wasn't much of a warm welcome when checking in or sign of any staff throughout my stay - which was a real shame.

Beautiful Hotel
I knew about this hotel because my father had stayed there in the late 1940s when it was a prestigious driving club. The property is luxurious with nice amenities, expert staff, and in a stunning setting. Even though it rained when we were there, that gave us a perfect reason to enjoy the amazing spa with heated outdoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. The food and service in the restaurant are excellent.

SERVICE 1A! Man kümmert sich sehr persönlich und aufrichtig um den Gast und bemüht sich alles wunschgemäß darzubieten . Tischreservierungen . Essen sehr empfehlenswert wenn auch an der preislich oberen Grenze . Etwas verwinkelt , nur ein Aufzug, aber Schlossromantik und herrlicher Ausblick !

Check in process was amazing. Checked us in while we relaxed with beverages. Then gave us a tour of the castle, showed us our rooms, and delivered our luggage. Luvia helped us and she was excellent. Old building. Fire escapes are not well marked. We paid a lot of money for an upgraded room and the windows are small, so you have to stand up to see the beautiful view outside.

Front desk Stephan was miserable.
The greeting was cold and short. For a high end hotel the front desk was disappointing to say the least. He barely spoke to us and when asked anything seemed put out. On check out , another staff checked us out and was pleasant. He was sitting next to her and never aknowledged us Our room was just above a room they were renovating and the constant bang bang bang all through the morning was awful. On a plus side the hotel is beautiful and our dinner and breakfast very good. You do have to walk outside to the other side of the hotel to reach it which is a little strange in the middle of winter The suite was large and views were beautiful.

Den Flair des Schlosses kann ein herkömmlich gebautes Hotel nur schwerlich erreichen. Der Service ist überragend und familiär. Leichte Abstriche beim Spa-Bereich, der sich halt in die räumlichen Gegebenheiten eines alten Burggemäuers integrieren muss. Kein Tauchbecken, kein Whirler, ansonsten alles da, inklusive Tee und Wasser.

Perfektes Hotel für Entspannung
Das Hotel ist perfekt für ein paar Tage Entspannung und Kulinarik. Der Wellness-Bereich ist schön und hell gestaltet und erzeugt - wie auch das ganze Hotel - durch Verwendung von alten Materialen eine ganz besondere Stimmung. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend, und auch die Menüauswahl im Rahmen der Halbpension ist abwechslungsreich und bietet genügend Alternativen. Für einen Skiurlaub wäre mir persönlich das Hotel jedoch zu weit von den eigentlichen Skigebieten entfernt.

Sehr schönes Hotel oberhalb der Stadt gelegen
Wir waren auf der Durchreise dort. Ein sehr ruhiges schönes Schloß, welches sehr schön Renoviert wurde. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll mit alten renovierten Möbeln. Man hat einen tollen Blick über die Stadt und genießt das Ambiente. Das Spa Bereich war sauber und gepflegt. Nächstes mal wieder.

Princess for a day!
Stayed at this hotel as a participant in a wedding party. Got the Princess treatment, their attitude of "Yes! Now what was the question?" impressed all of us in the wedding. Not designed for wheelchairs, but workable on crutches... they did their best to facilitate parking, lift use, and leaving service areas open to me so that I could move about as I wished. A peaceful location wiht fantastic views and lots of historical and local sights to interest the family.

A very special place in the Austrian Alps
This is a special place that I hope to get back to. Situated in an old castle at the top of a hill, the views of the Austrian Alps are wonderful in every direction. The hotel staff was consistently warm and responsive, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Even though the castle has the feel of a place from another century, my room was completely updated and very clean.

Nice view and spectacular history accomodation
Eventhougth arrived late night, the room key had been prepared for us. Very good breakfast, intimate atmosphere. Very good for romantic weekend.

Romatischer Aufenthalt mit sehr familiärem Flair
Das Schloss liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes. Die Lage ist trotz der Nähe zur Landstraße sehr angenehm und ruhig, als Ausgangspunkt zum Skifahren ideal. Der Service ist hervorragend, angefangen von der Begrüßung bis zur Verabschiedung. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Das Frühstück hat uns begeistert, sehr gutes Buffet und am Tisch servierte Eierspeisen, Waffeln, Pfannkuchen - was das Herz begehrt. Besonders angenehm ist die Atmosphäre in den Stuben, in denen Frühstück und Abendessen eingenommen werden. Jede für sich ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und da stets nur wenige Tische Platz haben, kann man in ruhiger entspannter Stimmung sein Essen genießen. Auf Sonderwünsche wird jederzeit eingegangen. Das SPA ist sehr schön gestaltet, besonders schön ist der Außenpool und die Ruheräume. Auf die Ruhe der Gäste bedacht, ist dort keine Internet- und kein Handyempfang - herrlich! Wir haben die Tage im Schlosshotel sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Spectacular hotel in all respects
Very luxurious. Staff went out of its way to ensure comfort. Restaurant is worth the trip alone. Outstanding cuisine. Worth noting that hotel is in final stages of development. Baggage service from rather remote parking is not yet developed. One can drive to the lower entrance and drop bags, but then must reposition car, walk back uphill to the hotel and get bags to room, which may entail carrying them up one flight of stairs, if on the 3d floor. This is the only drawback, and I am sure will be soon remedied.

Super Romantik Hotel für zwei verliebte
Einfach nur schön, waren zum zweiten mal und es war wieder super. Essen Zimmer Service einfach super. Die Burg ist super neu renoviert und es wird weiter ausgebaut, davon bekommt man aber nichts mit. Preislich finde ich es aber mittlerweile an der Schmerzgrenze, das grössere Zimmer mit halpension Frühstück war bei 230 Euro die Nacht.
