The location is in a new part of zhanjiang. One can take the number 48 bus to the xiashan pedestrian street, using Microsoft map, and 41 to Zhongshan road 1. Both places I recommend going to in the late afternoon or evening. There is also the city mall behind the crown plaza hotel. Zhanjiang is a third tier city and if you do not speak mandarin , and speak Cantonese. You will be fine. The massages are great and the price point is excellent. I recommend staying at least 5-7 days to really see the city, the old and new.

沒窗，燈光昏暗
首先是大堂，燈光非常陰暗，感覺並不舒服，再來就是辦理入住時，排隊也是理所當然的事，但問題是在辦理我前面的旅客時，速度很慢，我跟朋友們等了差不多十五分鐘才到我們辦理，完畢後當即前往房間，我們4件行理也沒有服務人員協助，只能我們自己提行理，也罷了，到了房間後，燈光嚴重不足，非常昏陰，沒有窗，感覺頭暈胸悶，於是去找在另一個房間朋友，得知他們也跟我們有相同感覺，於是立即前往退房，也並沒得到退回房租

Huge room, very quiet, didnt utilise the restaurant beyond breafast but the other Chinese restaurant is huge and seemed very popular. There is a restaurant hidden away on the second floor of the strip of shops opposite the hotel which is ok as well and you can walk to the new Lotus shopping centre 10mins walk away behind the hotel.

湛江の一流ホテル
ホテルは日本のクラウンホテル系列のようで、ホテルの外観、建物の内装、部屋含めて文句ありません。スタッフはきちんと英語話せますし、特に困ることはありませんでした。立地は湛江空港ら7キロくらいで、空港からはタクシー相乗りで30元、帰りはメーターで18元でした。ちなみに空港からバスも出ています。ホテルのすぐ近くに湛江皇冠假日酒店站という停留所があります。空港からは10個目の停留所みたいです。(停留所の案内にそう書かれていました。)私は乗っていないのですが、空港の到着口出たら右側へ行くとバス乗場があるようです。(タクシー乗場も同様。)ホテルの周りに余りお店はなく、ホテルの中は高級ショッピングセンターですので、ホテル出たら左へ行くと円形交差点になってますのでそこを更に左方向へ歩いて30分くらいのところが大きなショッピングセンターになっており、そこは庶民でも充分大丈夫です。バスですとホテルの向い側に渡った停留所から48番に乗って3つ目だと思うのですが病院前みたいな停留所で降りるとすぐです。また泊まりたいと思いました。

綺麗なホテルで、空港までワンメーターです
新しいホテルなので、綺麗で良いと思いますが、タイのバンコクのプルマンホテルと比較すると、少し劣ります。

A short taxi ride from the airport
Too expensive for what you get. Restaurant staff do not know any English. Close to airport. If you prepay, hard to get receipt proving you stayed there.

very bad experience.
Worst five star hotel! If stay in Zhanjiang, go to Sheraton. Crowne Plaza is very old and service is very bad. Even the day I stay was attacked by typhoon. The whole city is in chaos. Crowne Plaza just like another disaster.

除非他们价格很有优势，否则建议住其他五星级酒店。跟以前的国营五星级差不多！
是一个老牌五星级酒店，非常糟糕。设施非常旧，服务乱七八糟。我明明在前台交了押金，然后在西餐吃饭说没有押金，不给签房帐。那天台风过后，几乎没有人帮忙处理和搬运行李。打扫清洁到了晚上7点都没有人，我理解这个特殊情况要求不能太多，也没有对他们的员工发脾气。但是作为一个五星级酒店，除了当天有水有电之外，他没有任何五星级酒店的服务，并且因为台风天气，还加价了！这些都是管理层和老板的问题。建议如果预定价格相近，还是住湛江的喜来登吧。

Breakfast should be included
Nice luxury hotel with wonderful swimming pool. The room is clean, fresh and big. The most uncomfortable or miss part from this Hotel is the breakfast, which is very expensive.

Good value
Overall a good stay. Room provided was very spacious and ideal for couples. Location is okay, but you need a taxi to go anywhere interesting. Excellent customer service from Concierge. Kenneth speaks English fluently and proved to be an enormous help for arranging transport and for local advice. However, I would not recommend dining there for western food. A bit pricey and not the best quality. Just okay food wise.

Good enough
When I arrived, I was impressed by the spacious lobby with a beautiful koi pond. Check in was quick. I requested for a step down transformer and was delivered to my room within 10 minutes. There was a palpable smell of cigarette smoke in the air even though my room was non smoking. The room was decent with clean sheets and clean bathroom. The bed was a bit stiff but tolerable. I was there for 2 nights and was not able to use the swimming pool. I was told it was closed because it was too cold(February). You would think that a hotel of this stature would keep the pool heated even just for the daytime users. The hotel is quite distant to the central area, about 15 to 20RMB by taxi. I would not recommend this hotel. There should be other choices offering better value for money.

It is trhe only one 5 star international hotel in Zhanjiang. No other coise. But is ok. Brekfast is poor for non chinase eaters.

Nice hotel, not worth paying for it twice though..
The hotel stay was wonderful. It had nice restaurants close by, and a roof top swimming pool.. For a person who have taken standard american hotels amenities for granted, this is a nice get away from the rest of Zhanjiang China. The rating for this hotel would of been much higher if the hotel front desk lady didn't charge me again for my two rooms upon check out. This was after I insisted that the reservation had been paid for from hotels.com. It has been two 3 months, they still haven't refund my money. One recommendation from me to you be sure the hotel staff understand that you have paid for your reservation upon check in...

Hotel is quite run down, rooms are worn, bed is very uncomfortable. Staff speaks very poor English. No shuttle service to airport depaite just 4km away. There is absolutely nothing nearby hotel to see or do, no shopping nor supermarkets.
