We loved the area as it was so lovely and very quiet-we could also walk to town or catch the tram. The hotel was lovely and we had a very enjoyable breakfast each morning. The hosts made you feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

What a cozy place to stay. Our hosts were wonderful and made check in so easy and they had delicious breakfast each more. The location is terrific-1 block from the Botanical gardens and a short walk to many wonderful restaurants

Classic Villa at heart of historic Christchurch
We felt so lucky to be able to stay in Classic Villa during our short visit in Christchurch. The hotel is a lovingly restored villa in the heart of historic Christchurch—across the street from the heritage buildings that comprise the Arts Centre, the hotel is very close to Botanical Garden, Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū, and many good restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Our hosts Steve and Jackie were very nice and welcoming who provided wonderful service all around, including severed delicious breakfast to us. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel to others.

This is a wonderful hotel/B&B. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent morning breakfast. Lots of common rooms for relaxing. It’s also a very short walk to the botanical gardens and town center. Highly recommended.
