“Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. WiFi in common areas was fine, room views of watering hole were amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. “The property is older but clean and well maintained. There are several different restaurants on site but they all use the same menu. The food is quite good, and the breakfast buffet that comes with most rooms has a good variety of items and good quality. Our main concern was the noise levels. The first night we were there, they had a DJ playing full blast in the pool area until nearly 5 am. I asked the front desk twice to lower the volume levels. “We had a wonderful stay. The Ark is nestled in the middle of the forest. As promised, animals come to the watering hole which you can view from balconies on each floor. We saw elephants, buffalos and baboons. One negative was the water in the shower took a very long time to get hot and the drain did not work properly, but other than that it was amazing.”

“The discount via Expedia and the entire payment was not accepted (not working, bla). I had to pay again. The rooms were not ready and the check-in delayed. The staff was slow and not helpful. It is NOT worth the money. We could not even leave the premises, as the guard was not willing to open the gate. They suspected us to have not payed! Stay away and go somewhere else.”
