Breakfast is a “Grab n Go” of muffins, granola bars, oatmeal, coffee, and hot chocolate. Maybe tea. While the rooms were very clean, the hallways smell like.@$$ and dog. I probably won’t stay here again because of the lack of convenience for a real breakfast And the smell of the hallways

Was nervous as usually don’t stay at extended stay hotels, and a friend had picked this place out. Was surprised with the cleanliness. Definitely an older more worn out property but fit our needs fine and staff was very nice. There was construction outside in the street, but even a construction worker went out of his way to ensure we crossed safely a couple of times when walking. Convenient location and definitely was a nice price point.

The area around the hotel is under a lot of construction and road work, so visibility of the hotel was a little difficult to determine where to turn into for parking. The district has plenty to do. We went to Kelly's Irish bar nearby. Guy's Deli is inside, highly recommend.

Plumbing needs work. Don’t get me wrong, things moved through the pipes. But the pipes complained NONSTOP. We switched rooms thinking it would improve and it was slightly better, but different. Now there was a constant running. Also stained carpet throughout walkways. Staff was super friendly and seems to be trying their best to keep up. Management needs to invest in upgrades, especially given all the construction out front which should drive adtl business once complete.

The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. We liked having a microwave and refrigerator. Having coffee in the room or available in the lobby 24/7 would have been nice. The shower had a leak and was spraying into the ceiling. There was road construction so it was hard to get in and out of the motel. (That isn't the property owners fault).

Cons: 1st room assigned had nail clippings all over floor, dirt in bed when covers pulled back. Requested 2nd room and it was better by little. Dirty/unswept floors, bad smell, tiles in bathroom missing, noisy hallway with barking dogs and running/unsupervised children. Plenty of multi cultural smells (some good, some not so good) wafting through halls from many rooms with long term guests. Homeless resting and sleeping outside doors of hotel. Abysmal breakfast offerings. Pros: nice staff who apologized for obvious concerns much out of their control. Nice location but we won’t stay again.

This property was pathetic and gives bad name to being a Plaza hotel. No notice given of road construction causing major issue getting into the property, M at front desk the worst customer service given, room had curtain off the rod, holes in wall, the kitchen had no items stocked, you had to request, soap scum left in bathroom, no shower curtain, no vending machines for drinks or snacks. Did not get the room I reserved and was told we were upgraded. I would hate to see what we were upgraded from. But the attitude of M at the front desk was just horrible. No apologies just "ok" in her responses. This hotel should not be advertized as a Plaza hotel. It does not reflect the elegance or standard expected by a business associated with the K.C. Plaza. Will never stay there again..

This is a run down property with little effort on maintenance and cleanliness. There were food remnants in/on the microwave, fridge, stovetop, backsplash, & drawers. The bathroom had multiple spots of mold, rust, rotting, & a wobbly toilet. Would've left the first night if we weren't concerned to load our belongings in the lot at night. Was also kept awake with intense stomping above from 1:00-3:00 am; breakfast was granola bars & mini-mini muffins.
