The property and our stay was great except for a few things. The AC didn't keep our room as cool as we wanted. The shuttle system to and from Disney parks was frustrating. By reservation only and they fill up. The 1st bus was 10 minutes late. Everyone got on the bus after checking with the driver to make sure it was the right bus. After sitting a couple minutes the driver said we we had to get off that bus and get on another bus. There is NO shade at the park bus stops. The bus runs once per hour. If you miss it or it's late, you just have to bake in the sun. The magic kingdom bus is at the T&T. We used lyft and Disney transportation instead. After check-in you're supposed to go by a 2nd desk to get your "welcome package". It's clear to any experienced traveler that this is for a timeshare spiel so we walked toward our room. A woman stopped us, said we HAD to go over there. We were there for a conference & only had 2 WDW park days. One of the women basically called us liars when we said we were using early entry, snipping "oh really?! Epcot doesn't open til 11!" We knew the park hours. We're former APs, so we ignored her bullying and left. Others might not have known and lost park hours.

I loved that there were shuttles to every Disney park & back, the staff was helpful and friendly, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, there was copious & delicious options at the buffet breakfast and if I had the energy to go, after my park visits, Disney Springs was less than a 10 minute walk away. Other than my room having a minor ant problem, which looked new, the elevator in my wing wanting to take us all to relax at the pool first, if you pushed the down button first and the high convenience store pricing there wasnā€™t anything amiss. Iā€™d stay there again.

The hotel is made up of two hotels in one. The Wyndham Garden LBV is motel style which suited us fine. The decor was nice without being too dated. TV was massive and had movie channels from HBO which were great for afternoon breaks and late night movies when getting home from the parks to wind down to. The lobby is huge and very nice. Has plenty of seating, a Jofferys that does to go food including breakfast items. There is an onsite buffet restaurant that does breakfast too but at $25pp plus tax and tip we decided not to do this as we can eat for less. The hotel also has a shop that sells everything you need plus a CVS vending machine for everything else. Thereā€™s also a bar just off the lobby and a new games room with plenty of games for kids. Pool area looked great too but again didnā€™t use it so canā€™t really comment. The hotel also offers ā€œfreeā€ transportation to all Disney parks. I say ā€œfreeā€ in commas as youā€™re really paying for it in the resort fee. The buses are great however and run on time every time on the hour from 7am they also pick up from the parks roughly every 30 minutes past the hour to come back also. The location is what really makes the hotel however being the closest in the area to Disney Springs it literally takes 5 minutes to get there on foot. Few things too point out however. The front door of our room didnā€™t shut properly unless you really slammed it shut. I also hate resort fees! $36 per day!

Bathtub tap was leaking, refrigerator was smelling bad. Too noisy in the early mornings, couldnā€™t sleep well. I have asked for room change but they donā€™t have any room available due to Labor Day long weekend. Arcade area toy vending machine was not working for 2 days. Staff was not helpful for my kid when his water toy stuck by the swimming pool area.
