I checked in a few weeks ago and stayed only 1 hour. First and foremost, I have worked in hospitality for 5+ years in addition to working at 5-15 star hotels and resorts, so this does not come lightly. The check-in lady whom I believe was a supervisor, did not seem to understand anything nor seemed to care. Upon checking into the room, I inspected everything and found a bug. Alerted the front desk associate and she was lovely in assisting but their โmaintenance or housekeeperโ didnโt seem to care and just picked it up off the ground like it was normal. There is rust everywhere, extreme mildew smells and the room was so humid that our bags had gotten damp within the hour. It felt hazardous and unsafe especially as my partner started having an asthma attack. We left the room and informed the associate we were checking out. She informed since we were already in the room we would be charged still but considering the issues she said she would have the manager contact me when she was back in to see about waiving the fee. Itโs been over a week and nothing. She was the only person who seemed apologetic and I feel horrible she has to work in these conditions as it was not just the room itself.
Not even worth staying just for one night.
