4/5 - Good
Cute and quiet town.
You'll enjoy the beaches and restaurants in Sand City. You might want to make time for a stop at Monterey State Beach or Fort Ord Dunes State Park.
If you're looking for some top things to see and do in Mescal Corridor NW and surrounding area, you can visit North Fremont Street and Monterey County Fairgrounds.

Cute and quiet town.
Not the greatest
We didn’t spend any time in Seaside other than in the hotel. We were there for the Jurassic Park exhibit at the Monterey County fairgrounds.
Seaside is a busy little town about 2 miles from Monterey. Monterey motel rates are much higher.
