Good service, but no special airport transfer
I really enjoyed my stay during my 24 hour layover in Xiamen. The staff were very kind and helpful, although my Chinese is not very good they still understood and helped me in Chinese which i really appreciated. Alrgough they could speak English if needed. The restaurant still made dinner for me even though I came in 5 minutes before closing and no one else was there The TV in my room was too low to be able to hear about 25% of the time. And annoyingly, although hotels.com says it has Airport Transfer,it does not mean shuttle or free transport. It just means they will call a car for you, but i think literally all hotels will do this so why put it as a special service? Its like saying "we have bathrooms!" I chose this hotel partly for the airport transfer so i feel a bit mislead. The other reason I chose this hotel was the free breakfast which for me was perfect. Good variety of bread, fruit, and traditional chinese breakfast foods as well as a special for Tomb Sweeping Festival.

There was one receptionist who spoke English. Most people spoke Chinese which is understandable. Service was good after the communication barrier was sorted. They helped me to call a taxi to take me to the airport which was appreciated.
