Mountain Home Inn is a no frills hotel that, for a comparatively reasonable price, offered clean rooms w/light blocking curtains, daily maid service (a lost art), friendly staff, coffee service available in lobby, stocked vending machines and was within walking distance of a few restaurants.
While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were not (all three were small, lumpy and not of quality). The walls are very thin (I could hear room above using the bathroom and people talking outside my room and in the stairwell). Traveling with ear plugs was helpful. It is an older hotel so there are some aspects that should just be expected. Definitely a good value.
