The breakfast and the bathroom are basically what I paid for. The infrastructure was average. The neighborhood was crowded near the train station.

inside the hotel was acceptable if you didn't mind the broken plaster on the walls and dirty carpeting in the halls. Though it appeared on the map that the location was great, unfortunately every night the homeless and drug addicts hung out right next to the entrance door. I booked for 7 nights and could only stayed for 2 nights because of this. Felt very unsafe. The taxi cab driver said that the location was the worst in the city of Frankfurt.

There were drug addicts outside, the room was freezing cold and was like a neglected university dorm room, the TV didn't work. I left after 15 minutes because it was that bad.

It’s facilities are basic and reflected in the price! Corridors are particularly in need of major renovation. The room ambience was lacking; curtains were thin and looked tired with some gaps in the header hooks on rail: no net curtains; bedroom window could not close fully and handle was damaged; paint chipped/scratched in several places; ceiling light not very bright; bedside lamp cable loose and lamp shades damaged. However bed was comfy and courtyard facing rooms relatively quiet. Breakfast was above expectations with a compact but varied offering of juices, cereals, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, breads, fresh fruit pieces and salad, as well as hot scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, and small meat balls that resemble sausage.

This is my opinion. I stayed in room 306. Good Points - Price and Location for the Messe (10 mins walk) and train station (5 mins walk). Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Bad Points - Despite being clean nothing in my room worked. The television in my room didn't work. The shower over the bath didn't work if the water was on hot as there was no pressure. It took about half an hour for the bath to fill too. So no shower or TV. The road the hotel is in is a 24 hour road. If you're a light sleeper this isn't the place for you. There are also homeless shelters and facilities either side of the hotel with people shouting, screaming, fighting and doing other things 24/7.

Okay hotel, not great location
The hotel was okay - it had the basic necessities and was clean. The location was not ideal but that was my own fault for not researching enough before booking! Location: as stated in other reviews, it is very close to the red light district and there were a lot of drug addicts outside when I first arrived (afternoon). On searching I found that the hotel was next to a safe drug consumption facility which is why there were so many around. I had to walk past them a couple of times and they never said anything, it’s just a bit daunting when you’re by yourself. It was a good walkable distance from the centre. Room: the room had a distinct smell of drains which I think was coming from the bathroom - I shut the door and it was less obvious. The beds were okay but quite hard and not the most comfortable. The lighting in the room was also very dim - after sunset the room was very dark. One of the lamps didn’t work and I also had trouble getting the TV to work too. Service: the lady on reception was always very nice and helpful.

lovely hotel nice rooms very clean and friendly staff. The surrounding area was full of druggies so we did not feel safe and they were noisy and began fighting with knives and belts. would not use again

Please don't book at this place
If you are a couple or with family plz avoid this hotel. Firstly it is really hard to find the hotel as it has a different name plus the sinage is poor. There are so many people living on the street outside the hotel, some are sleeping just outside the hotel door. All the people were taking drugs out side and it was not safe to even take your language to the hotel. I saw a person getting mugged aroumd 8pm. Room quality is not that good aswell. It doesn't have a fan or air-conditioning, it has the smell of cigarettes everywhere.

The experience was awful. If you are not informed about Frankfurt, the neighborhood in which this hotel is, is awful. Dangerous, full of drug addicts, urine smell, prostitution, trash, just don't go there.

The room was basic but clean and met my needs. However, the hotel was hard to find. Business owners on the same block didn't know it by the name on the reservation. And, all of the Hotel.com resources required wi-fi access and there was none on the street..

The one great thing about this hotel is the location to the train station. It is a short 5min walk. Unfortunately to get there you need to walk through a street infested with drug users (junkies). Once you are in the hotel you will go to your room which has excellent space. However you can expect to find chewing gum on the walls, cobwebs and scuff marks. The wifi is free however does not reach all rooms. When you ask about this at reception (even requesting to change rooms) there is no help, no apology just someone who basically laughs at you and says you can sit in the reception area to use it. One last thing, the shower is mouldy!

The room were big enough but weren’t cleaned properly. The breakfast was ok. The reception stinks. Outside the hotel on the left refegees were taking drugs using injection. On the right street with red lights. At the check out the reception i was told to pay for breakfast which was included. But i have shown confirmation from expedia. He said thank you. Didn’t even apologise. Probably was trying to trick me.

There were heroine addicts by the dozens shooting up outside the front door of the hotel, the hotel is situated in a good walking distance but you are walking through the "red lamp" district of town. The room walls were stained from spilled drinks, or worse, and the TV didn't even turn on and the phone wasn't even plugged in. Outside was loud and the beds as hard a rock

Bad part of town
The hotel was pretty good. Clean, modern and close to the Train Station, plus the staff were nice and had a good grasp of English. However, it is located in the more 'seedy' part of town. I admit I didn't look at reviews for this hotel before we booked but the photos and price were similar to our first hotel a week prior only 2 blocks away. The location of this hotel is right in the middle of the 'Red Light District" of Frankfurt. All the strip clubs and sex houses are right in this area. It is also the area that gets overlooked by the police because there were multiple groups ( 10 to 30 men and women ) gathered at all times of the day and night, buying and using drugs ( smoking and shooting) in broad daylight and view. They didn't seem to bother us but we did have to walk in the street to get past those sections of the sidewalk(s).

Good hotel on a bad street
I liked the hotel. The people at the reception desk were very really friendly. The location was on the one hand good, because it was close to the train station, on the other it was bad, because it's next door to a center for drug addicts, who gather on the streets to wait to get some fresh needles from there. There is also a red light district right next to it. The hallways look a bit sterile. The room was nice though. There was no refrigerator and air-condition.

Unless you are comfortable walking past 50 plus people on class A drugs and enjoy watching people inject from you balcony and scream at each other all night I would not recommend this hotel. The hotels is doors down from a clean needle centre, we did not feel safe. We feel sorry for the hotel as the hotel was fine for price but location is terrible. Big eye opener.
