"This is a rather old hotel and we had to lay our futon every night. There’s no private shower so we had to take our showers in the public bath area. The staff couldn’t not speak English but the Manager gave us excellent service. He was kind and helpful. He also drove us to the pier to catch the boat to amanohashidate station. "

"ワイナリー訪問の為に利用しました。部屋に冷蔵庫はありませんでしたが、要望通りワインや保冷剤を冷やしてもらえ快適に過ごせました。ありがとうございました。 Stayed for a winery near the hotel. “Amanohashidate Wine” is about 30 mins away from the hotel on foot. The hotel was old, traditional and well maintained. My room has no fridges but the owner accepted my favor to keep my wine in their fridge. He takes care of nature and organic food too."

"Stayed for 1 night and everything was nice. Expected to arrive late due to flight delay and they still served us dinner. A staff picked us up at the train station though it’s only a few minutes walk. The dinner and breakfast are the best I’ve ever had in Japan. The property is spacious and clean. All staff are nice and friendly. Would love to stay there again in the future."

"My brother, a friend and myself went to this beautiful place in the end of March, a bit off season. We were the only ones staying at the Ryokan at the time. The service from the couple that ran the place was amazing. They drove us around showing us various sites like a Kimono factory, the beach, a beautiful view point. "We stayed at the beautiful Kaya villa. Our daughter was sick during our stay. Max our tour guide drove us to the doctor! Yoshko let us borrow her thermometer and brought us cookies. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly - Taka our English speaking host exceedingly so. We also enjoyed the best dinner in Japan. Arigato for all the beautiful memories."
