"The cabin was warm and cozy and our entire family of 7 had a wonderful time sleeping in the cabin. The location is on the mid-hill of Hanlla Mountain and to get to the nearest convenience store is about 4kms away. We had a rental car to get around, so it was manageable. The owner was very friendly and waited for us although we arrived later than the check-in time. Overall it was a great stay and the kids kept saying they would be coming back to visit again."

"So, we chose this because it had really great reviews from about 4 people, but I’m not sure why! It is called a ‘resort’ but it’s not. It’s a dated Korean pension that had a tiny pool by a pizza restaurant. We arrived and the female owner was just really rude to us for most of our stay, so we just felt like we were constantly tiptoeing around and trying to avoid her. I don’t think she liked westerners. "We stayed at Jeju Igloo for 3 nights, the hosts were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough to help us. When we arrived, they gave us some cold homemade rice drink and showed us the igloo. They gave us a local map and explained all the bus routes, where the nearest stops were etc. When we were ready to go out an explore, they drove us to Handeok beach and showed us where everything was and how to get the bus back (or elsewhere). "The room IS huge. Although I know beforehand that it's 65sqm, seeing it in person still makes me go WOW! Makes me feel like a rich person staying in a hotel suite. The room is clean, bed is comfortable, room make up service is excellent. The only imperfection is the pillows - too soft for my liking."
