"So I'm going to start this review by saying that people need to learn how to be considerate and quiet in hotels, especially in spaces like this one. It's very small and there is not a lot of noise insulation so if you're talking super loudly, stomping around, and slamming doors, you're being a bother to everyone. Be considerate! "お宿から降りてすぐの日の出浜で波の音を聴きながらゆっくり過ごしました。 お宿近くの岡田港の周辺は食事ができるところが元町港に比べて少ないようですが、舟吉さんで2食付き、港の施設のレストランで昼食を取れるので特に問題ありませんでした。私は食べる機会がありませんでしたが近くにはパン屋さんなどもあるようです。 お宿は清潔でご飯も美味しく、ご主人方もとても親切にしてくださいました。その日のスケジュールの相談や荷物預かりなど、心配事を相談すると真摯にお答えくださいます。お宿は山にも近いのですが部屋の窓をしっかり閉めれば虫なども問題なかったです。(もし万が一出たとしてもご主人にお願いすればすぐに対処してくださいます) 個人的な話ですが、初めての女一人旅でこんなに素敵なお宿に宿泊出来たことはとても幸いでした。伊豆大島の一人旅で宿にお悩みの方は是非、ゲストハウス舟吉さんを検討なさってみてください！"

"A nice western style bed & breakfast ~5 minutes walk from Sokodo Beach. It is a little bit outdated and pricey for what you get, but it was convenient to the beach and the owner was very kind and enjoyable to work with. We recommend this place to a solo traveler or a young couple who prefer to stay on a budget. "

You could walk around in the neighborhood and drop in into any small restaurants to have a taste or local food. "部屋の中は一見綺麗そうに見えますがベッドの下には雪見だいふくのゴミが落ちてました。それからベッドフレームの充電器が置けるスペースには使用済みの割り箸が4本置いてありました。枕にも汚れが付いていたのでお客さんごとに変えてるのか謎です。そしてクラブハウス？が近くにあるのか夜中にも若者の大きい声が響いており治安も悪い。6人泊まれるのは良いですが神経質な人は無理かな。またここに泊まろうとは思いません。"
