On arrival found pool out of commission for month - ok alternative arranged by hotel but was a little limiting. Hotel was also having problems with some of main lifts - again not a huge problem but sort of sums up the hotel - in need of a little TLC - service was a little slow sometimes but very polite. Note you have to pay in advance for everything - or on the spot - checkout therefore means their crediting you - it’s a little irritating to have to pay for a 200 peso lemonade as amount just exceeding the credit deposit - feels more like a petrol station than a 4 star hotel. Room - again aging but comfortable and clean - showers are excellent. Bed harder than expected but comfortable. Breakfasts good - dinner not as good - buffet has good selection but too many of the dishes were stone cold - when they were supposed to be hot. Bar - only offers two draft beers and they had run out of Pilsner. Bottled beer fine but again just not as good as should be. The internet was appalling. Dropped in and out - had to visit business centre to book a flight. They put me on a different network that used for remainder of stay but the suggested general
Fast Wi-Fi is a total nonsense. This was my third stay at hotel and overall feels like standards have dropped. I like the location and the rooms are fine but the remainder could do with improvement. Next time I think I will try elsewhere.
