"We know the location since the late 1970s, always a food destination. Now with new owners and chef even more so - a real treat! Hotel had its quirks from Wi-Fi that only worked when standing by the door of our room (didn’t work in the lounge) to light bulbs out and forgotten breakfast items, some attention is needed. Not four stars."

I texted a family member at the hotel and the clerk called a taxi to pick me up at car rental and drop me off at hotel. That meant a lot! The bathroom could have been cleaner but willing to live with it for price, location, space and friendliness. We got two double beds (one was a couch but was ready for us). "We had such a great time. The staff was so nice. Landau is a nice walkable town and also a home base to visit Diedershem and Naustadt. Definitely worth the visit for wine tasting and authentic German feel. "
