"Great staff, very welcoming and professional"

"We arrived in the morning and 'checked in' but given the earliness of our arrival the room was obviously not ready which were more than aware of. Staff however booked us in, gave us a card to access all the Hotel's facilities and called us as soon as the room was ready. Staff were polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Check in was fast and the reception area was well maintained and spacious. We were upgraded to an ocean view and our room was excellent! Spacious, clean, modern. "

"I didn’t like the toilet roll holder which kept falling down. The toaster needs replacing. Shelf in the wardrobe needs fixing. 2 face washers should have been supplied for 2 people. Toiletries were insufficient for 2 people. A little more attention needed in the cleaning ie crumbs in the toaster cupboard and the kettle needed a good wipe over. The staff were excellent. Extremely helpful and polite. "

"Amazing stay! The property is the best I have stayed in during my years travelling to the Gold Coast. This was recommended to us by family - and I will be recommending it to friends and family. Property is clean and the apartments themselves are spacious and have all the facilities you need when staying for any period of time. "The property was clean and modern but selecting the correct lights lights to turn on at the electrical switch at the door entrance was very frustrating. The electrical light switching meeds to he looked at,otherwise great place to stay. Mal savage"

"Great location near to river, transport and restaurants. Views are great too. Functional apartments. Drop off area for taxis requires you to hump your bags down stairs to get to reception. Room not clean, reported, still not cleaned. Told to just use one of two bathrooms. Strange security person asking us who we were in the evenings as we entered. All a bit strange. Slow checkin. Slow lifts (very)."

"I have stayed at the Mantra for many years from when it opened for family holidays, weekends away, single night work trips and even staged a conference at the property one year. It's a great location however it is starting to feel a little tired. I was in a 1st floor apartment this visit and it was fine, however there was a bad smell of stale smoke. I don't know if it was a previous guest or if smoke just drifts in from other rooms/floors (I usually have the balcony door open). I will probably...
