"This hotel is one of the nicest I’ve stayed in. Quiet, clean, spacious lobby and room. About a 7-minute walk to the pier. Santa Monica has a lot of homeless but the area around the hotel was pretty clean and felt safe. Cons: no breakfast and the little store is expensive - $7 for bottled water! For the amount paid for this room, I would expect complimentary water."
