"My husband and I were meeting a couple of friends here for a get together. We had stayed in J W Lees hotel previously so anticipated it would be good. The entrance through the dining area was very attractive and welcoming. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. Our room was very spacious with plenty of hanging space. The bathroom was larger than average and the toiletries were good. We loved the water in glass bottles too. Very comfortable bed and lovely amd and clean."

"The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom was a little dated but everything functioned well, we had an evening meal which was excellent and the breakfast was cooked to order and wholesome one of the best breakfasts enjoyed. We only stayed one night on our way to Ireland convenient for ferry port of Fishguard."

"A lovely comfortable stay, slept well in a comfortable bed. The bathroom was nice very spacious and clean. We had a nice meal and a very tasty breakfast, bonus point for Gluten free sausages. All staff were very friendly. Will definitely stay again."

"Felt this was a little overpriced for the quality of the rooms. Appreciate this is a very old pub but the cleaning & finish within the rooms could have been better especially when paying premium rates Staff were excellent"

"Great location and our room no 21 was very well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious with a power shower and very clean. We had breakfast which was superb value for money and the service outstanding. This is a pub/hotel full of character. The staff here are friendly and accommodating. We will be back"
