“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

“Exceeded all expectations! So many little details met! Room was very comfortable with great mattress and bedding! Water provided at no additional charge. Car parking free. Food was EXCELLENT!!! Breakfast was gourmet and included in our booking! We also had dinner on the Blackthorn which again was fabulous and the aged prime rib, potatoes with home garlic aoli was 5 star worthy!! Way to go staff of The Twelve!”

“The setting of this hotel is beautiful, and as long as you have a car, it’s easy to get around - we used it for a base for the Galway area. Our stay included breakfast, which was lovely. We even had it in our room one day. A few draw backs for us was: the front desk staff, who were pretty rude and unhelpful when we checked in (but we are used to American level of friendliness of service) Also how early everything closed, the kitchen closes at nine even on a weekend… I wish we had known…”

“The Ashville Guesthouse is a charming property just on the outskirts of Westport. The room was spacious, clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared with something for every taste. The full Irish breakfast was excellent. Hilary and Oliver are exceptional hosts and make their guests feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B and will book again if my travels take me back to the area.”

C’est parfait pour explorer le parc national et les alentours comme Kylemore Abbey. Le gros point fort : l’accueil. John est extrêmement sympathique, toujours prêt à donner des conseils et à aider pour organiser les visites. On se sent vraiment comme à la maison. “Staff were very courteous, rooms comfortable, undercover parking and close to town were all issues which added to our enjoyment of this property. The meals in the hotel area were also hearty and good value. Certainly recommend this property. ”

“Great location in Cong. Close to everything. Parking wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only advice is that they don't have an elevator/lift. If you're on the second floor, you will have to haul your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. Also, like most places in Ireland, no wash clothes. ”
