โThis place was a special place for us. The team at Karatu really were special who did out of their way to provide for us when there were issues, and when the first room seemed to have issues (shower drainage, bee hive on the roof, urine smell) they quickly changed the room to a better closer room, and always were helpful in arranging or finding different solutions for transportation issues etc. The place is located 2 hours from Arusha, and around 30 mins from the main gate for Ngorongoro crater....

โThis was a splurge reservation at the end of our ten days in Tanzania. What a treat that was-especially after struggling with Internet and other โmissingโ items at other properties. Everything about the Neptune property was first rate from the furnishings to the food to the convenience and the staff.
Yes, the price point was higher than we normally spend but truly if you get what you pay for, the price seems justified. At Neptune we received what we paid for and then some!โ
โIt was excellent. The grounds are beautiful. The the food is superb. The room is large it had two king size bed and a fireplace a sitting area. we stayed at this Four Season in the Serengeti. this was comparable for a lot less money. I would stay here again. In fact, we extended our stay one day just to enjoy the service and the food. It is definitely a jewel.โ
โBeautiful property in somewhat isolated area. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only regret did not allow enough time to enjoy the property. The restaurant does not offer ala carte choice but requests can be accommodated.โ
โFamily 'room' was excellent.
However, for a December visit a bathroom heater was sorely needed and towel bars for drying towels.
Every resort should have a safety bar in shower for young or old!โ
โWe had a wonderful experience staying at NJIA Panda tented lodge. The property is only about two years old, so everything in in great condition. We were the only guests one of the two nights and received exceptional service. The meals were great with serving sizes so large we were never able to finish. We initially had issues getting hot water and the staff immediately had a team out and got it fixed in no time at all. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.โ
