"This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. "Comfy cabin with large deck. We enjoyed sitting outside in the quiet evenings. Comfortable beds, but thin, steep stairs going to second floor. Only half-bath upstairs but two full baths downstairs. Good variety of games to play, adequate dishes, and a Keurig coffee maker. Grocery store a mile nearby. Owner very good communication. "
"Wonderful house, we liked it a lot.
Great location and nice property, hostess was nice and responded quickly to messages.
House is nicely furnished as well.
Only complaint is that it wasn't very clean when we arrived (kitchen dirty, we had to clean bathtub multiple times before using, floor was dirty).
Overall a fantastic stay though, I would recommend this house for a quiet get away"

We stayed at Rest for our anniversary and were welcomed warmly. The staff went out of their way to make us enjoy our experience! Thomas the general manager was great, he made us reservations at Taste and told us about the area. The restaurant is owned by the same couple that owns Rest. Outstanding meal and staff at Taste as well. They all really made our night special. This is a diamond in the rough!!!

This is our second time here and, as with our previous stay, we had a very pleasant experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. As the 2-queen room we booked online might have been needed by another family with kids, staff offered to upgrade us to a suite at no extra cost--score! The suite was pretty nice offering a separate living area with its own TV. It was roomy, clean, comfortable. Continental serve yourself breakfast was a nice added touch; fruit, instant oatmeal, prepared cheese...

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good especially compared to other similar properties. Each morning, they changed their menu and it was always quite tasty. The staff kept everything full [buffet style] and they were always ready for a crowd.
The restaurant next to the Best Western served a very tasty dinner. The menu was mostly Indian food . I requested it to be mild and they had no issues with my request.

This is a family owned lodge, and yes it feels like home, the owner is always helpful and friendly and run the business with hearts and effort!
Visited there last weekend! During the winter storm, wow it's been a long time since last time I saw this much snow, so fun, but almost got stuck in Tahoe LOL, 50/88/80 were all closed and waited 3 hour to get out.
And yes the experience was exceptional. (isn't S'more in heavy snow exceptional? Dig my car out of snow is so fun)
