Great beachside stay
"Great relaxed stay by the beach. Especially enjoyed having a drink on the deck watching the sun go down over the water. Kitchen well equipped and comfy beds. Bathroom a little dated but great water pressure. Would definately stsy again"

"We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again."

Hokitika Gorge was beautiful, nice that glow worm viewing was free, enjoyed seeing the beach & glass studio, people were friendly, cute town, Stumpers Restaurant was good!

Nice area, we probably should have had another night to see more of the surrounding area. It looked like a number of interesting things were close by, but out of town.
