Desk staff were friendly and accommodating, although the hotel is a bit dated in its decor, they are undergoing upgrades. Our room was very clean and quiet, which to me (being a light sleeper) is very important.

A nice little city surrounded by amazing geology! The area around Lake Superior is stunning at any time of year. There are a number of waterfalls, parks, beaches and trails within reasonable driving distance of Thunder Bay. Good for a short visit.
