"Lovely hotel, Staff very friendly. Room very clean and looked newly done up. Comfy bed. Good choice for breakfast continental and cooked. Had a nice evening meal too. Plenty free parking around hotel. Quite area to walk about, beautiful scenery. Scalloway museum worth a visit."

"The hotel was clean, warm but dated. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The fact that there was no restaurant meant no meal or breakfast but the staff advised me of lovely alternatives. I believe the hotel has just changed hands so probably just getting things organised and i hope it works for ..."

"It’s probably the ugliest building we’ve ever stayed in, but better inside. Our room was rather ‘tired’ - wallpaper peeling off, large crack in the basin, but was clean. Food was really good, and excellent breakfast."
