"I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this hotel! I was a little nervous because of some of the reviews, but I did not have a single problem with my six-night stay here. The room was much larger than I expected and I felt very safe here. There is only one way to access the courtyard and buildings with the rooms in them, which is right past the front desk. The entrance to the courtyard from the street was almost always shut and locked, except when there was hot chocolate and mulled wine with treats being served at the small building in the courtyard. The location was quieter and more local, but still had great restaurants and shops. The metro is close by and very simple to navigate when you get the hang of it to get to other parts of the city. I would recommend this hotel!"

"Cool hotel with old world charm that is very walkable and close to some cool things. The room was very comfortable with nice linens and a comfortable bed and desk area. they boasted nice views as well. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of great options. The staff was helpful and accommodating."

"Hotel informed in advance that there is no elevator so I was prepared. Not convenient for people with disabilities or in case you have heavy luggage. For me it was fine. Window a little bit difficult to open but room size was OK for Paris downtown. Good location near "Nation" with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and convenient transportation. Staff always friendly. Although I didn't take breakfast the breakfast room in the basement looked quite inviting."
