The area its self is very quiet, if you’re looking to not be in the city and have a nice peaceful rest this will be perfect. My only mistake was not booking this property for a longer stay! "Part of a developing seaside resort - the Wave Hotel East, which opened in January 2025 was near empty when I stayed (July 2025) which is not a bad thing. Rooms are excellent, large and spotless. Great sea views, nice breakfast. The hotel facilities are limited, the pool has no loungers, the shops are all yet to be occupied etc. however Sihueng is great if you enjoy jogging, and the random quiet emptiness of it all makes your stay memorable. There are several restaurants open, and there is the wavepark itself (a surfing park with a wave machine). You can get there by public transport (Bus 33) but it takes a long time - taxis are easy to hail. "

"The downstairs lobby was beautiful, but you feel like there was a bait and switch when you get upstairs to your room. The smell was so bad until you opened the window and aired your room. The room was small and made me think it was a remodeled motel. The beds were clean along with the bathroom. Unfortunately I didn’t get to sleep much because it was like sleeping on boards. It was great as a break, but I wouldn’t live in the hotel. "
