"Quite a way out of the centre (over a mile from the station not good if you’re without a car). I was woken at 03:45 by a party in the next room, out on the adjacent balcony. I called reception and 10 minutes later all was quiet. With breakfast at chf 19 each, we thought we’d go for the McDonalds next door - closed until 10:00!"

"Pros- beds were comfortable, it was quiet, full kitchen was great, self check-in went smoothly. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. All of the water ran to the end of the shower and out into the bathroom instead of to the drain. Even after a very short shower the water had flooded the bathroom almost to the door. "This was probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Great location, friendly and helpful staff, included breakfast options were great, everything clean & tidy and working correctly! 100% would recommend - to groups of young people interrailing etc, older solo travellers, even families with young children there are excellent provisions for. Really everything you could ask for!! "
