“Excellent lodging for visiting the Kasane area and doing Chobe Park activities. Location is a little outside of the main town area, but right next to a supermarket & Nando's restaurant. Lovely outdoor space with our room, which even had a small kitchen. Good breakfast, which we partook of before our activities. Everyone on staff was very nice and tried to be helpful, with a special shoutout to maintenance worker Gary - my buddy who helped us out with several things! However, there were a few...

“This is a gem of a property. Large rooms, wonderful meals, you can have dinner there as well. Boa, the owner was terrific and made all our excursions reservations for us which was fantastic. 2 swimming pools and a relaxing garden like setting”

“River View is a small resort which offers sn all inclusive experience. The rooms are clean, modern and very spacious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. There are cooked options for breakfast, a complimentary serve yourself lunch as dinner with two main options. On one of our nights we had a barbeque. They have their own arranged boat safari in the afternoon and early morning game drives. I would definitely recommend River View in Kasane.”

“We found the hotel extremely over priced. It should be half the price, or less. The room is very basic. The decor in the common areas is fairly sparse and dated. They even wanted to charge us to borrow their international adaptor! The service at the restaurant was slow but the staff there were nice. The location is good though. We would not recommend it (unless maybe they drop their price and you're looking for something with no frills.)”

“実際のロッジは掲載されている名前と全く別の名前であり、空港スタッフもその名前を知らなかった。空港職員が「これは詐欺ではないか。」ということで地元の警察署に同行してくれ、一緒に事情聴取を受けた後に、別のロッジの手配までしてくれた。新しいロッジが見つかり一安心していると、警察職員が「ロッジが見つかった。君の予約したロッジの名前とは全く別だったが、予約があることを確認した。」ということで改めてそのロッジに移動・宿泊することになった。施設自体は可もなく不可もなくであったが、とても「アンリミテッドラグジュアリー」とは呼ぶには程遠いものだった。評価は最悪である。”
