“Wonderful views and the feeling of being in The Lakes. Good spaces for walking the dog. Rooms are spacious and dog friendly with the inevitable trace of dog hairs on the divan bed. I stayed at this place on my way to Buttermere. It allowed an early start on quiet roads and was cheaper than staying in any of the towns en route. I did not eat in the hotel but the nearby services have hot breakfast rolls and good coffe. ”

“Really enjoyed this weekend away. We had a family room which had 2 singles and a double, it was a very large room with gorgeous high ceiling and window overlooking the road quiet location. The staff were all lovely and very welcoming. Enjoyed having access to the pool which the kids loved. Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all hot which is sometimes missing in some venues. Breakfast was buffet and no complaints. I would say my only gripe was the kids menu in the restaurants, its £15 for 2...
