“Eric, the manager, went out of his way to secure me an 'on arrival' visa and was a dilligent host. Staff were all really nice and as a Cultural Centre as well as hotel, does vital work with local children, teaching them self esteem using drumming and dancing which I gladly took part in. “La Villa Aphro was our home away from home. The tucked away boutique resort felt like our own personal Air B and B. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a delightful welcome native drink that I wanted to drink the entire trip. My. Husband arrived with an upset stomach from our united airlines flight from IAD. “The place is very nice and beautiful. The only disappointed thing was the TV channels. It was all local channels. I was told it was the settings, i should have let them know . I think everything should be reset before the guest comes in. Also couple of times that the maintenance men were trying to come in, unaware that the room was occupied. Apart from that, i love the place. It highly recommended. Don't worry about the road. When you get there, you will forget about the bad road ”

“Just spent a week with my family and loved it. The good points: the staff are fantastic, so helpful and friendly even when we turned up at 2am after our flight was delayed. The rooms are big and clean (and didn't see a single mosquito). Air con worked well. Netflix on the tv. Pool was clean. The best bit was being right on the beach. The boys loved playing football and splashing around. It's out of the city centre so very quiet and peaceful and it was great to get away from the insane...
