“I loved the reasonable price for the standard room. The food was very tasty and nutritious. The traditional dance performances close by and the band playing danceable music on the beach were exhilarating. I also loved the Saturday morning children’s dance classes in the dance studio on the main floor. The staff was very friendly and attentive”

“La Villa Aphro was our home away from home. The tucked away boutique resort felt like our own personal Air B and B. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a delightful welcome native drink that I wanted to drink the entire trip. My. Husband arrived with an upset stomach from our united airlines flight from IAD. Staff immediately jump to action showed to our room and made him two drinks. A special ginger drink the bartender put together and seltzer. My husband slept and was felling back to his self...

“We've stayed in many hotels domestically and abroad but never had such warm, friendly, and attentive service! All the staff were so nice! They frequently asked if we needed anything. Even when I didn't feel well , they offered to get medicine or a drink to ease my discomfort. Seeing the animals on the property was a nice touch. The furniture was beautiful with carvings of palm trees and animals. Would definitely stay here again! Kudos to the owner for making the stay feel more like home!”

“I went mid week and had a pleasant stay while it is quiet. The hotel is in pretty good condition, when I arrived they were even installing new TVs. It is clean and well maintained, a very good standard for a 3star hotel in Ghana. The food at the beach restaurant was my favourite, try the calamari and fried rice, very tasty. Also nice to have breakfast, hotels.com didnt let me know it was included it was also good. Staff very helpful even though it is quiet during the week”
