Worst trip!
There was no cleaning room and kind reception. The room charges were different with those of this website. It was very expensive. It was terrible. It's location is just good. During two staying days, I was calling and waiting to get the data for WiFi everyday.

Wifi not working properly
Nice location, nice people, nice apartmemt. The wifi was very weak through and I could most often not use it in the bedroom (my only concern but ignoring)

Duty manager must us feel very welcome, location perfect as we could walk to the CBD easily. Parking was good, and we could see our car from our accomodation as the carpark as right opposite our suite.

Comfortable and well laid out apartment, recently renovated. Great location although can be noisy in morning as in CBD. Easy walk to shops, restaurants etc.

Fantastic property in an ideal location for those wanting to be right in the heart of the city. There are restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shopping right on the doorstep. The room was exceptionally clean with a lovely view from the balcony. Staff were very friendly with check in quick and easy. Will definitely stay again!

Property was in the CBD. The property was dust,dirty and old.Started having hayfever and asthma issues shortly after we arrived.We called both the property manager and Expedia and no one was willing to help resolve this.I had to endure severe hayfever and asthma throughout my stay and was told to stay till after Xmas which was literally after our holiday.My son who just recently started crawling had to be confined to the cot as the carpets didn’t look clean at all.Not to mention the air conditioner which had so much dust and would make my allergies worse if we switched it on.I am very disappointed with my experience and will never use your services again.

Hi Melissa,I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. Your Expedia booking had a strict "non-refundable" term. I did offer you generous terms to cancel on arrival.You booked an exceptionally well priced 3 star "Economy" family apartment. While the furnishings and styling is dated the property is beautifully located, clean with comfortable beds, crisp linen, fluffy towels and exceptional service.We have recently renovated the majority of the apartments. Creating a very special boutique accommodation experience. I'd like to make up for this poor experience. Feel free to reach out directly next time you're looking at accommodation. Disappointed I couldn't extend my stay, even though i requested it prior to check-in, and had to find alternative accommodation for 1 night. Noise at night was a big drawback, both internally and externally

The property is currently being renovated and upgraded. I was in a room that had had some work done but wasn't fully renovated. It was lovely - very spacious, high ceilings, a balcony and a full kitchen. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Excellent discovery
This is an old building but fully renovated and an excellent price for a one bedroom apartment in the centre of the city. Parking is in a commercial car park immediately across the road but very convenient. The only issue is that the desk isn’t manned and you need to let them know when you will arrive so someone can meet you.

Fantastic location, poor bed.
Fantastic location and the apartment was well set out. The living space was a good size and comfortable. The down side was the bed. We were in apartment 4 and the bed was very springy. Made for a very poor nights sleep.

The unit we stayed in was all updated & very spacious. New bathroom, kitchen with small dishwasher. The manager was very obliging and gave us the room upgrade for a reduced price and a late check out for free. You can access food and drinks in the basement at Legends bar directly from lifts in the apartments, very convenient! Will book directly with Mansions next time for the best deal and will definitely come back.

我巳付三晚房租，但是我只住了二晚、已搬了。第一晩，我們根本睡不到，我們住二樓，樓上的地板整晚嘈，第二天要求換房，接代處要求我多付澳幣15 元換房，我只好照付！但是換了房后，旁邊有個工程建樓房，一大早6點已開工做到晚上8點，噢、我後來退房了！

Noisiest room I've ever stayed in
There was a big building under construction right in front of my window. I was woken up at 7 am with the noise of heavy machinery, I asked the receptionist to be moved to a different room that is not facing the construction site and was told that there were no other rooms available besides the family room, which was way more expensive and that I would have to pay the difference. The receptionist is the most frustrating person I've had to deal at a hotel, he could not answer even the simplest of questions without getting confused at the information he was providing (questions about room availability and such), told me that the noise shouldn't be an issue for me because it was only during daytime (from 7am to 5pm) despite the paper thin windows which would make anyone uncomfortable and when I asked for a refund for the second night I was told that they cannot issue a refund since they haven't touched the money so I should talk to HomeAway so they can give me my money back. This room must not be available for rent until the construction is finished, it's disrespectful and inconsiderate against the people who spend their time and money expecting to have a pleasant stay in the city. Slept terrible both nights, didn't enjoy my stay at all and was not offered any solution for the issue they created by renting a room that should not be rented in the first place.

The only thing good was the location.. It’s the first time I’ve woken up at 4am and booked another hotel (only $17 more but worth so much more!!).. The room had a smell of petrochemicals, was in poor condition, the bathroom was too cramped to be safe and it was difficult to access because of cramped stairs.. I don’t mind self check in BUT the front door is a few steps away from an alley.. I felt unsafe and because there’s no night porter on site when I needed help I became annoyed.. When women travel alone and are checking in after reception closes there SHOULD be a night porter.. I complained to management who rang me but they dismissed my concerns like I was hysterical.. Perhaps being a rape victim does make me paranoid but the lack of basic human decency was appalling.. I’ll be skipping the accommodations offered by this hotel group..

The 1 bedroom flat was spacious and comfortable. I have read other reviews complaining that it was "run down". Maybe it does look a bit tired, but so what? I get sick of perfectly serviceable hotels being gutted and the interiors replaced with glitzy glass walls. Think of the environmental cost of pointless cosmetic refurbishment. The location in the city centre couldn't be better. There was some noise from the construction of an ugly tower block next door, though it looks like it might be nearing completion.

Extremely poor cleanliness. Old room, badly needed a coat of paint. Fire alarm went off at 1.30am - (seems to be some problem with their switchboard - no-one was in attendance to inform residents). Room was nothing like the picture on your site. Very disappointed in wotif as we have used you a lot in the past and always found you a great service, your standards have clearly dropped.

Our stay at the Mansions was OK. The location is 11/10 and was the single most redeeming part of the stay. The value for money was also very good. Our room however could use an update. The light in the bathroom would turn off every 15 or so seconds making showering quite frustrating and the small TV in the living room was not what was expected. The construction going on right next door was annoying but is not the hotel's fault. Could do with a refresh.
