Surprisingly to see finger prints on bathroom mirror, stains on carpet and lounge sofa when I got in the room.
The iron in room was certainly damaged and broken prior to my arrival as it sticked on my cloth and ruined my shirt right away after I plugged in and waited for steam coming out.
The duty manger Nick didn't even want to bother to check the iron or my shirt and said that iron was not used for a long time as guests don't usually use iron in room!
Then the executive housekeeper said later that iron was totally fine but just couldn't be used anymore?!
No one was even bother to say a simple sorry or looking into any solutions.
Very disappointed with this poor quality of service and rude attitude.

I booked this room specifically for the large spa bath, but to be put into a accessible room with a smaller spa bath than i stayed in last time. The whole reason i booked the room was for the large spa bath... so i am quite disappointed in this stay. No other issues (apart from the hair dryer needs to be test and tagged as it is overdue), but the spa bath was very disappointing and made me rethink staying here again. The view of the building across the road was also uninviting. Was woken up at 7am by loud crashing and clanging from the street.

Fantastic property, the staff were very approachable and made the stay memorable. The buffet breakfast has a large selection of high quality options. I highly recommend The Playford when staying in Adelaide.

Overall a very good experience. A couple of issues with restaurant availability and availability of decaf coffee at breakfast and interruption of Foxtel TV service, all of which were acknowledged and promptly fixed to our staisfaction by management. We would stay here again.

This hotel is a 3—or 4-star hotel masquerading as a 5-star hotel. While there have been renovations and a few upgrades, the property is far worse than what the pictures show. Most rooms face a parking structure or an alley and contain gross and dirty bedspreads and furniture. The bed hurt my back the next day and contained stains across the sheets. Additionally, each floor is guarded by strange and uncomfortable glass doors. Overall, for the price tag of over two hundred dollars, you are better off staying at a cheap hotel for the night or stretching for the upgrade at the Sofitel down the street. I would not recommend it to anyone.

A beautifully renovated hotel. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Friendly, helpful staff who genuinely seemed happy in their workplace. This hotel is walking distance to the mall & to the tram which is free to the entertainment centre & gardens. Great location. Would highly recommend.

The inconvenience in the studio room of having the toilet downstairs.
The quilts were too heaved and made me way too hot even with the aircon
The bed was uncomfortable, I have slept less on my time there than ever before.

Great staff, lovely room, great bar. Stayed in the junior suite, could definitely use some sound insulation, you can hear everything that is happening in the alley, it got really loud and certain times.
