Fin og hyggelig by. Trivelige mennesker på Hotellet. Men dette hotellet har ingen egen resepsjon. Må på et annet hotell litt lenger ned i gata for resepsjon og frokost osv. Men dette fungerer ok, men litt tungvint. Litt dårlig med parkeringsmuligheter. Hotellet hadde egen parkering, men da måtte du betale 6 euro i døgnet til hotellet, noe jeg syntes var litt smålig... menyikoner parkert i gata så det ordnet seg. Rommet var helt OK. Fint rom, men god plass. Noe lukt av gammelt og rått i gangen / korridoren, som ga litt dårlig inntrykk

Great one night stay
Great place, all you needed for a one night stay after a visit to the Nurburgring. Staff were excellent.
Note to anyone else who stays re check in. You have to walk down the road around 150 yards to another hotel to check in and collect your key. The info is on the door of the hotel, easy to find. Free parking right outside the hotel which was good and there's a supermarket 10 yards away.

Best Hotel Experience in Germany
I booked a room at the Wilden Schwein, but when I checked in (a block away at the Blaue Ecke, where the main office is I guess) they gave me a room at the Blaue Ecke. I'm not sure why, but it was more than ok with me. The Blaue Ecke was the nicest hotel stay I had in Germany, and for the price of a room at the Wilden Schwein I could not complain.

trvligt och mysigt hotell nära "ringen"
hade bokat på detta hotell men blev uppgraderade till deras lite bättre hotell ett kvarter bort. Där även receptionen för detta hotell ligger.
Jättefint stort rum, hård säng som jag inte gillar men verkar vara lite så i hela Europa att sängarna är hårda. Trevlig personal, god frukost och restaurang som granne. Finns matvarubutiker inom gångavstånd och även caféer.

Hotel/Zimmer o.k., aber echte Wildschweinteile im Zimmer Geschmacksache.
Erst am Hotel die Info, dass die Rezeption in der "Blauen Ecke" ist. Restaurant nicht in Betrieb.

Good location in Adenau for visits to the Ring
You have to check in/out at the Blue Ecke Hotel which is a couple of hundred meters further down the road.
Room was much smaller than the ones shown in the pictures.
The bed was comfortable and we both slept very well. The room was cleaned every day, including Sunday.
We were told breakfast was included when we checked in, so every day we walked to the Blue Ecke for breakfast.
You can imagine my surprise when we went to check out they told me it wasn't included, and they wanted 11 Euro per day!
My advice would be to get them to print you off some sort of confirmation, if they say breakfast is included.
