Best hotel in Spain?

One of the best hotels ever experienced. Very good food and great local wines Marta took very good care of us and helped finding the places we where looking for. Probobly the best hotel in Spain

Hidden Gem in Arcusa!

What a beautiful gem we found in this hotel. Marta, the host, went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The food was delicious, the room was spacious and comfortable wuth great amenities, the view was amazing. Marta made us feel completely at home. Will definetely come back as soon as we can.

Wonderful and relaxing stay

Tierra Buxo is a little haven of luxury in the Spanish mountains. Marta was so friendly and helpful to us during our stay, and you can tell how much effort she puts into making her guests feel comfortable and welcome. Both the breakfast and dinners were delicious, with lots of lovely, locally-sources products. Our room was exceptionally clean, very spacious and comfortable, and we loved the jacuzzi bath! We also loved the outdoor pool, as they are quite hard to find in this region. There are only 5 rooms and it's adults-only, so it was very quiet and relaxing. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and are very grateful to Marta for her excellent hospitality.

Top notch!!!

Where to begin!!! Marta greeted us at the door and from that moment we realized that we were in for a memorable experience! Hotel Tierra Buxo is well designed, thoughtfully decorated and has all the amenities needed for a restful stay! We were lucky enough to have she and her mother prepare and serve us a delightful meal, with explanations of where all the foods ingredients were sourced. And we also shared a wonderful bottle of wine that was produced by her friends. The village of Arcusa is tiny, but a walk allowed us to immerse ourselves into a discovery of wonderful local artwork adorning nearly every structure! Absolutely delightful! I would highly recommend a stay! Marta is a very professional and considerate hostess that goes out of her way to ensure her guests a very memorable and restful stay!

Die perfekte Unterkunft für Ruhe, Erholung und zum Genießen. Die Zimmer sind neu und geräumig. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Der Garten mit Pool ist schön zum Erholen. Unbedingt das Abendessen und Frühstück genießen.

Mas que un hotel

Hotelito lleno de encanto en un entorno idilico. Habitaciones espaciosas y muy comodas a las que no les falta detalle, desayunos de alta calidad con productos de la zona y cenas riquisimas elaboradas con gran esmero. Pero lo mejor de Tierra Buxo son Marta y Román que te hacen sentir como en casa y hacen de la estancia algo muy especial. Volveremos en cuanto tengamos ocasion.

Una experiencia insuperable. Todos los lujos de un gran hotel, con la amabilidad y cercanía de un pequeño alojamiento rural. "chez eux comme chez nous" !

l'accueil chaleureux et joyeux d'une "chambre d'hôtes" avec le confort bien pensé d'un hôtel 3-4*. "chez eux comme chez nous"! vous êtes dans la banlieue d'un village de 25 habitants: c'est calme... super pour le repos, d'autant que tout a été pensé dans le détail pour le confort. Mais après, c'est calme! heureusement Martha connait ce qui va pouvoir vous intéresser dans un rayon de 50 km -et il y a de quoi découvrir!- Et elle vous en parle bien. Pour la restauration, le premier restau est à 1/2 heure d'une route "vicinale", mais Romain sait faire -bien- la cuisine et vous propose un "menu du chef" tous les soirs différent et , grâce à son appareil Coravin vous avez le plaisir d'un très large choix de vins au verre qui vous permet (à prix raisonnable) découvrir moult crus locaux et au delà. bon, on peut regretter de ne pas avoir de cris de bébés à table ou de hurlements à la piscine, mais parfois un sacrifice peut se supporter et on peut survivre sans enfants ou petits enfants pour quelques jours de repos parental...

This was one of the best hotel experiences of my life! Marta and Romain are very special people and consummate professionals and such an asset for travel to the region. From the moment we arrived, we had extraordinary experiences which continued throughout our stay. Marta is so helpful and knowledgeable about the area and will spend as much time as you need her to making recommendations, helping you plan your route on the map, etc. And they are both the best hosts you could encounter. Especially remarkable were the dinners prepared by Romain--such spectacular courses specially selected by him, paired together and prepared with the best ingredients. The design of the hotel and each amenity and furniture selection so carefully planned by the two of them. I know this is a glowing review, but every bit of it is true and still I don't think I'm doing the hotel and the truly wonderful experience justice. I'm so grateful for the experience we had meeting Marta and Romain and staying at Hotel Tierra Buxo.

Top Notch!

This boutique hotel was top notch. It was the launch for our Pyrenees Motorcycle trip. The owners/innkeepers were so personable making it truly a unique experience. The food was fabulous and they had a quaint bar and patio area for extra relaxation. Highly recommended!!!

absolute perfection

On its own this Hotel is a 5 star experience but Marta and Romain take it up to another level . This 3 year old modern small boutique hotel has been resurrected from their Grandfather’s barn and looks like it has been there for many years. Set in a quiet, tranquil village with views over farmland and hills all you can hear are the swifts wheeling overhead and the swallows dipping into the pool. It is beautifully done. Outside there is ample secure car and bike parking and a gorgeous pool. Inside, the hotel been decorated and fitted out to the highest standard in a Scandi style throughout. The bedrooms are large, spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. Each has an ensuite and a balcony and underfloor cooling/heating. The attention to design flows throughout the entire building, there is nothing that they have overlooked. Marta and Romain are passionate about local food, wine and products from the region and are enthusiastic to explain the provenance of everything they serve and offer for sale. Breakfast and dinner are amazing. From beginning to end their, expertise, friendliness and relaxed professionalism made our stay very enjoyable we enjoyed every minute and are already planning our return.

A wonderful stay at the woods- Tierra Buxo!

Amazing stay! Our room and the whole hotel is a beautiful OASIS! We were able to discover the Sobrarbe region without any fuss because of Martha's complete and detailed guidance of the area- Ainsa! She even ushered us out the best route to our following destination. To Martha and Roman, the chef/ our chef, thank you so much for taking good care of us and giving/introducing us the regions best meals. A real memorable vacation indeed!
