“Great location! Friendly staff”

“This is a unique property that embodies the tradition of the motor courts that were common along historic Route 66 in the 1930s and 1940s. The small individual cottages are lovingly restored and maintained. The bed is very comfortable and well appointed. And while the space is smaller than a modern hotel room, the experience of staying in one of these motor courts is well worth the affordable price. This would be a great place to stay, especially during this Centennial year of the great Mother...

“I really wanted to make this stay work. The heat index was over 100 degrees. When I unlocked the door the inside was considerably warmer. It took the room air conditioner a couple hours to cool down enough that I could go to sleep. A bathroom fan would have helped to exhaust the trapped heat. Otherwise nice.”

“Bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. Room smelled like smoke, mold , and something else I can’t put my finger on. Room felt most and musty. Bathroom had lots of bugs. Room appeared clean. Smelled and, felt awful. Lady at desk at night was nice and helpful. Lady in the morning. Was not super friendly. Seemed rough around the edges. Breakfast was ok. For over $100 no way.”

“This place is always hard to find, due to google maps NOT showing the right turn at the property, partly because there is a hotel and a restaurant sharing the lot, and there is NO eye-level signage indicating the entrance. It DOES say "Residence inn" on the end of the building, 3 or 4 stories up - We pointed this out TWO YEARS AGO, and no one has fixed it yet, that I can see”

“Other reviews have mentioned the rooms smelling like smoke. They definitely smell like smoke along with the hallways smelling like cigarette and Marijuana smoke. We had a patio that had several cigarette butts on the grass and the two chairs on the patio were in rough shape. The room was clean and a good size. Breakfast was available, but limited in options.”
