We stayed here while visiting family. They do not speak English so be prepared for that. The facilities and people are wonderful. The food is OK, not great. The pool is fantastic but if you are there like us during a Mexican spring break or holiday, be prepared there is not enough seating. Actually probably the best place to stay in Ajijic!

The hotel advertises safes. Not a one works…they are all non operational…so disappointing. Most of the staff at front desk during the week does not speak English. There were dead cockroaches (5) in our room when we arrived…Not good cleaning. The weekend brunch was good. Weekday breakfasts were not served warm. The front desk has no maps. We would have liked to walked around. An ice machine would be a great addition since there are no mini fridges. There are bottles of water in the room which we appreciated, but warm room temp. Ice would have been delightful. With all the plastic bottles we used, it would be great to have a separate bin in the room for recycling. I hope the hotel recycles. The grounds are and surroundings are lovely.

Beautiful property; we enjoyed the quiet. Providing bottled water in the rooms is a nice touch. May we suggest leaving drinking glasses, face cloths and a box of tissue in the rooms? Also, an area where we can get coffee in the morning. We are early risers and an 8 a.m. opening at the restaurant is too late for us. There were items on the menu that we wanted to order but were not available (lemonade, chicken wings). Thank you.

At times it appeared that I was the only guest in the whole property. No one seen at the outdoor or indoor restaurants or the bar or the pool. My hotel room (standard room) had an safe in the closet, but it wasn't working (out of power or batteries). When I asked the front desk to fix the safe, I was told that only the rooms that are "suites" have a workable safe. Then what is the point in installing safes in the other rooms if they will not work as such? I had to bring my passport and valuables with me every time I left the room. Finally, I had originally reserved 6 nights at this hotel, but after only the second night, I decided that I was going to travel to the city of Guadalajara instead. I asked Expedia and the hotel's front desk if I could be given at least a partial refund for the 4 unused nights. The hotel refused to give me any prorated refund at all. I don't recommend this hotel.

Very calm, peaceful and serene place. Loved the view! Would have liked service around pool or in-room cups, but that’s just a minor point. Overall it was a splendid place!

The property is in a very bad shape. I’m allergic to mold, the room, the mattress, the pillows; actually I don’t know why they don’t fixed the BIG problem.

Muy buen hotel en AJIJIC
El hotel está muy bonito, jardines verdes y bien cuidados. La vista a la laguna es inmejorable. Excelente ubicación. Los cuartos son muy amplios y muy limpios. El buffette de desayuno muy bueno. Gran atención del staff

Charming Resort
Staff were helpful & friendly. The room was nice & big. No drinking glasses. Paid $2,400 pesos for a New Year’s Eve Dinner. Nice venue BUT the entire dinner buffet was ice cold! Everyone at our table felt the same. Just terrible a waste of money. Fireworks were great.

This property is pristine. The landscape was breathtaking. The staff was courteous and friendly. We really enjoyed the billiard tables and drink selection at the bar/restaurant. Parking was a breeze and our room was clean and comfortable. The hot water in the shower was aplenty. Will defiantly stay again on our next visit.

Muy bueno, pero.....
El hotel está en general limpio y las habitaciones son muy espaciosas. El personal es amable. El aire acondicionado de la habitación no funcionaba y el hotel es viejo y le urge una actualización.

There was an inexperienced desk person - our check in was problematic We have been charged an extra night and have not received refund. There are cats all over the place; climbing on dining tables , one came into our room at night, which was very upsetting as my husband is very allergic . We have stayed here many times, and this visit was very disappointing

The Hotel was good. I like the facilities location and views of the lake . No Uber or Taxis are available near by to take you anywhere in the town.

Nice expansive property with 2 large pools and a hot tub. The breakfast buffet is very good with many options. The restaurant itself has limited food options and a bit pricey. We ordered some guacamole by the pool, it was good and it took a long time to arrive. Rooms are large and comfortable. Very safe area and enclosed hotel

Necesitan poner aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones, el calor por la noche aún con ventiladores es insoportable, el servicio del restaurant dejo mucho que desear, la comida es buena pero la atención pésima, tanto de meseros como de cocineros en el buffet
