Who puts a Victorian style kiosk at an interstate freeway rest stop? Well, apparently, the good people of Albany, Oregon. As the sign says, this cute little structure serves to commemorate the more than seven hundred historical homes and buildings in downtown Albany. I love this little thing, but get a load of the trailer hitch under the front window. I'll have to start looking for those in some of the older districts in the area. I did not realize that they were an architectural feature.

I got the two bedroom suite, and it was very spacious. The price was just right. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable. I would say only one thing I wish the towels were softer, dry with hard towels is no fun. But overall, it was good.
