Be aware when compared to the reserves further East such as Amakali, there are far fewer animals and the grounds are smaller and less rugged terrain. The accommodation is on the edge of the enclosure so safe from wild animals.”

“Vi lejede det helt fantastiske hus. 3 store værelser, stor stue og veludstyret stort køkken. Egen udendørs jacuzzi (uden bobler). Med den mest fantastiske udsigt, hvor dyrene kom hen til huset ved skumring for at spise og drikke. På lodgen havde vi både game drive og så må man også gå rundt blandt dyrene rundt i parken. Absolut fantastisk. ”

“We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! ”
